    Default Though He Tarries, He Won't Forever

    Habakuk

    2 Then the LORD answered me and said:

    “ Write the vision
    And make it plain on tablets,
    That he may run who reads it.
    3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
    But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
    Though it tarries, wait for it;
    Because it will surely come,
    It will not tarry.

    Don't Grow weary in well doing for you WILL reap in due time

    Don't lose sight of this end time vision, DON'T let the cares of this life, choke or blind the vision from your eyes

    Take Hold and Run with the call to CRY LOUD and SPARE NOT....

    There are multitudes and multitudes in the valley of decision....souls that are needing YOU to share what God has put on your heart

    In Proverbs it says without vision the people will cast off restraint and perish

    We need to be responsible and take care of ourselves and our families as if we'll be here for years BUT seriously and straight up, we must do THAT in Light of Eternity,

    each and every day is quite simply a gift and very well might be our last day ..and if not us ...it might be the last day of one of our assigments....let us be diligent to ask our Father...Who Lord? Who can I share You with? Who is it that You want to pray for today, Who?

    I promise you ...THERE WILL NEVER BE A TIME HE SAYS "No one today"...

    Romans 13:11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here.

    Thank you for sharing this SoundingTheAlarm. If I may, I'll share this right quick.

    Several, no, MANY years ago, right after Hi Shcool, I worked off shore for some time. On the dredge I was working on was another young man I had trouble getting to know. Well, through some workings by the Holy Spirit, which I was unaware of, this young man asked me one evening, what is it that makes me so different. That night, I shared Jesus Christ with him. And, unknowing to me, he ended up accepting Jesus as his Savior.

    The next time we came out to work, he was put on the night shift and I stayed on the day shift. The next morning, I woke to discover this man was missing off the dredge. Come to find out, he had fallen off the barge and was hit by another passing boat. He lost his life in a horrible way.

    I found out from his family, the last time he was home, that previous week, he was a CHANGED MAN! They couldn't believe what had happened to him. I met his mother at his funeral and she wanted to thank me for sharing Jesus with him. That day, back home, all I could do was just cry!

    Anyway, we NEVER KNOW what the plans are that God has in store. The one you share with, have an "impression" to share with, might be that person's last chance! We don't know the mind of God and sometimes question, is my being here really that important? Lord, do I really make a difference? Yes, YOU DO!!

    I share this, NOT to take away form SoundingTheAlarm's words of wisdom, NO, not at all, but to simply share what God can do when we least expect it. He used me, a young 18 yr old kid who had no idea about witnessing and all that "stuff". But, by the blessings of the Holy Spirit, changed this other young man's life FOR ETERNITY!!

    We ALL MUST understand, the days are getting short. And as was mentioned, there are still soooo many that need to hear the Good News! Oh, may we get on with the business of truly asking God, HOW CAN I BE OF SERVICE TO YOU TODAY!!!

    Thank you both my dear brothers in Christ for sharing what is on your hear (Sounding) and the beautiful testimony (Mike). You have both blessed me tonight in your postings.

    Titus 2: 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
