Default I just read something amazing

Did you know that the same stories are in the The Bible Torah and the Koran? What do you think about this? I never knew this and was amazed in discovering this.

The Christian Bible is made up of two main sections, the “Old Testament” and the “New Testament.” The Old Testament contains the same books as The Hebrew Bible. The New Testament documents the life, death and resurrection of Jesus. The New Testament contains four main sections, The Gospels, the Acts of the Apostles, The Epistles, and The Book of Revelation. The Gospels tell the story of the life, teachings and resurrection of Jesus. The Acts of the Apostles tells how Jesus’ disciples acted as missionaries, spreading the teachings of Christ. The Epistles contains letters written by Jesus’ disciples as they traveled to foreign lands. The book of Revelation foretells the Day of Judgment and Jesus’ return to Earth.

The Torah is the Hebrew term for the first five books of The Hebrew Bible. It is sometimes called The Five Books of Moses or The Pentateuch. It includes The Books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. The entire Hebrew Bible is called The Tanakh or The Holy Scriptures and includes The Torah, The Prophets, and The Writings. There is a difference between The Hebrew Bible and The Christian Bible. The Christian Bible is divided into two sections, usually referred to as “The Old Testament” and “The New Testament.” Jews do not accept the term “Old Testament” as it implies a “New Testament.” (Plaut, pg. 18*) Therefore, when necessary, we will specify Torah, Hebrew Bible, or Christian Bible as appropriate for clarification and understanding.
An Orthodox or fundamentalist view of Judaism holds that The Torah is the word of God, given by God to Moses. A more liberal view maintains that The Torah was written by man in Biblical times and is “a book about humanity’s understanding of and experience with God.” (Plaut, pg. 18*)
Torah also means instruction or teaching. Therefore, in its broadest sense; Torah encompasses the entire body of Jewish learning. It teaches Jews history, laws, morals, values, and standards of behavior. It is meant to be taught and studied, discussed and debated by all Jews.

The Qur’an (Koran) is the Holy Book of Islam. It is considered by Muslims worldwide to be the unaltered word of God. Literally, the Qur’an means “the Reading” or “the Recitation”. It was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) by God through the Angel Gabriel over a period of 23 years beginning in 610 AD. The Qur’an is divided into 114 Surahs (chapters) and includes stories/passages about Prophets Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Joseph and many others. Muslims recite various parts of the Qur’an every day as a part of the five daily prayers. Children as young as 6 or 7 memorize the entire Arabic text.

What do you think? Did you know this?

the qur'an is a satanic revelation from hell. The devil knows the bible better then any of use do so I am not surprised that some of the same stories are in the qur'an that are in the Bible. BTW - the stories in the qur'an are perverted and distorted versions of what is in the Bible. The Bible is the ONLY revelation from God. Allah is not the God of the Bible!

Allah was a pagan deity of ancient Arabia who was hijacked by Muhammad for Islam. | Islam | FaithFreedom

Was Allah The Moon God of Ancient Arab Pagan?
    By Syed Kamran Mirza

Historical evidences, impartial logic, well versed references and all available circumstantial judgments can very well prove that—(a) Allah name of deity was pre-existed much before the arrival of Islam, (b) Pre-Islamic Pagan peoples worshipped Allah as their supreme deity (moon-god). Allah’s name existed in pre-Islamic Arab. In ancient Arab the Allah was considered to be the supreme God/deity (as Moon-God) and Arab Pagans worshipped Allah before Islam arrived.

Let us examine below some valid questions and answers :

Did the Pagan Arabs in pre-Islamic times worship 360 gods? Yes

Did the pagans Arabs worship the sun, moon and the stars? Yes

Did the Arabs built temples to the Moon-god? Yes

Did different Arab tribes give the Moon-god different names/titles? Yes

What were some of the names/titles? Sin, Hubul, Ilumquh, Al-ilah.

Was the title “al-ilah” (the god) used as the Moon-god? Yes

Was the word “Allah” derived from “al-ilah?” Yes

Was the pagan “Allah” a high god in a pantheon of deities? Yes.

Was he worshipped at the Kabah? Yes.

Was Allah only one of many Meccan gods? Yes

Did they place a statue of Hubul on top of the Kabah? Yes.

At that time was Hubul considered the Moon-god? Yes.

Was the Kabah thus the “house of the Moon-god”? Yes.

Did the name “Allah” eventually replace that of Hubul as the name of the Moon god? Yes.

Did they call the Kabah the “house of Allah”? Yes.

Were al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat called “the daughters of Allah”? Yes.

Yusuf Ali explains in fn. 5096, pg. 1445, that Lat, Uzza and Manat were known as “the daughters of God [Allah]”

Did the Qur’an at one point tell Muslims to worship al-Lat, al-Uzza and Manat? Yes. In Surah 53:19-20.

Have those verses been “abrogated” out of the present Qur’an? Yes.

What were they called? “The Satanic Verses.”

The Torah is part of the Bible. It is the first five books of the Old Testament. The koran is is NOT part of the Torah or the Bible. As was already mentioned it is a satanic deception that denies the trinity, denies God had a Son, encourages it's followers to kill Christians and Jews, etc. etc. etc. Do you think that is the same thing that is in the Bible and Torah?? I'm sorry, but you are incorrect. They are NOT all the same.

Yes, we know that. The Torah as already mentioned is the first 5 books of the New Testament that were written by Moses. They are NOT in the koran. The God of the Torah and Bible is not the same god of the koran. The God of the Bible and Torah is the Almighty One who created all things. The "god" of the koran is satan. Only satan wants folks to kill Christians and Jews. At the bottom of this link is a whole section on Islam:

Christian Cults, Islam, and Pagan Religions

I believe the Jewish Bible is basically the Old Testament. They don't regard the new revelation of the New Testament and Jesus as being valid. But that is because they have scales over their eyes and do not recognize who Jesus truly is. Praying for the Jews.

Yes, we knew this but the koran says that God doesn't have a Son. The koran says all kinds of things that are contrary to the Holy Bible. The koran is a satanic deception that is leading many to Hell because it is a man made religion developed by Mohammed to achieve his goals. It is not inspired by the Lord like the Bible is. There is not a single iota of truth in the koran. Islam and the koran were developed 500-600 years after the Bible. It is a satanic ripoff of the holy scriptures of the Bible.

I'd advise all to not get involed with the koran at all and to stay solely grounded in the Holy Bible which contains the OT and the NT.

Of course, the old serpent and his prophet muhammad imitated the Bible in the quran. Just like the anti-christ will be an imitation of Jesus.

The quran does mean recitation.Due to the fact that muhammad was illiterate, he had to have someone write for him. He recited what he claims were messages from allah.

However, we all know that he knew what the Bible said, so he tried to imitate it.

In the quran muhammad does admit that Jesus was a "perfect person" and that He was "born of a virgin". Those are about the only truths you will find in the quran.

I have read parts of the quran. I don't own one, and I hate to spend even a penny of my money to buy something that is more fiction than Obama's two diaries put together.

    Amen!
This is just another ploy of the enemy to bring "all religions together". Daily we see in the ecumenical movement that all faiths are the same! NOT TRUE!

Muhammad the Borrower was illiterate and his followers wrote the koran and hadiths about 300 years after his death, and about 1000 years after John the Apostle, an eyewitness of Jesus, wrote the following verses, the scariest copyright notice in history.

    Rev 22:16-20
16 I, Jesus, have sent My messenger (angel) to you to witness and to give you assurance of these things for the churches (assemblies). I am the Root (the Source) and the Offspring of David, the radiant and brilliant Morning Star.
17 The [Holy] Spirit and the bride (the church, the true Christians) say, Come! And let him who is listening say, Come! And let everyone come who is thirsty [who is painfully conscious of his need of those things by which the soul is refreshed, supported, and strengthened]; and whoever [earnestly] desires to do it, let him come, take, appropriate, and drink the water of Life without cost.
18 I [personally solemnly] warn everyone who listens to the statements of the prophecy [the predictions and the consolations and admonitions pertaining to them] in this book: If anyone shall add anything to them, God will add and lay upon him the plagues (the afflictions and the calamities) that are recorded and described in this book.
19 And if anyone cancels or takes away from the statements of the book of this prophecy [these predictions relating to Christ's kingdom and its speedy triumph, together with the consolations and admonitions or warnings pertaining to them], God will cancel and take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the city of holiness (purity and hallowedness), which are described and promised in this book.
20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)!
    Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
