    Default Advice needed

I am in a difficult situation and I could really use some advice.

A friend of mine I wont say his name but lets just call him 'Adam',
anyway Adam has recently confided in me that he is in fact a homosexual.

Naturually I was immensely disgusted because as we all know Sodomites are an sickening abomination against our Lord God. I haven't seen Adam since then because unsuprisingly I don't want to continue my friendship with such a Devil spawned devient.

But as we all know the end of days is rapidly aproaching and I do not wish him to serve in the army of Gog and Magog but rather his soul be washed clean with the blood of the Lamb.

    Thankyou and please help.

First off, we're ALL devil-spawned deviants. That's why we need a savior. And, second, I don't have to agree with somone's lifestyle to witness to them. The woman at the well comes to mind here. My thought is that you need to leave the judgement to Jesus and show your friend there's a better way through your behavior toward him. Who will tell him if not you? I've never really understood why we run away from people who share these kinds of things with us...it just makes no sense to me. The sin of homosexuality IS NO DIFFERENT OR WORSE THAN ANY OTHER SIN!!! If you've broken one commandment, you've broken them all. If you've even thought angry things about someone you've committed a sin. You are no better than your friend that you just smacked down with judgement. How can they come to know Jesus if we all run from them and judge them harshly like you just did?

You're right, though, we ARE coming to the end of this age and your friend needs Jesus more than he knows right now. Do you want to see him in hell???? I mean really??? Think about how you just spoke of someone you USED to call a friend....I heard no love of God in your statements and that concerns me. Like I said, leave the judgement to God and share the good news and pray for your friend as you are commanded to do in the word. And, lastly, there is no indication in the word that Christians will be in the Gog and Magog battle at all. In fact, most prophecy teachers believe it will happen AFTER the rapture of the church, so I'm not sure where you get the idea that we would ever be a part of that battle. Just my thoughts...

Darwin, I'll be the first to admit, it isn't easy doing what Bghtnpd4 stated. It's not easy standing up for what Jesus told us to be. It's not easy being a reflection of Jesus to those who may have offended us, or hurt us. I see other people at my work place living a horrible life in the lifestyle they're living. Yet, I go on, day in and day out, and say NOTHING! WHY????? So, don't feel alone in your non-ability to share with someone you know is living in sin. We're all guilty of that one. Just pray and ask God for direction, understanding, and a gentle heart. You might be surprised to find what God brings out of all this.

    Default Sin

Hi there, a hot topic is Homosexuality, I try and see it as who has the right to Judge? only God can do that, even Christ said I am not come to Judge.
It is hard, but try and see it as ok he admits he is Gay, would have been hard for him, depending on how one deals with this situation, one example is, how will this guy get saved if every Christian turns their back on him and calls him an abomination?, we have a gay guy, no not a happy type of guy but a Homosexual in our Church, do we condemn him? nope, as long as he is NOT practicing and participating in the act then he is welcome, as he truly wants to be there when Christ returns, some are just born this way, the more perverse ones choose that lifestyle because just about everyone else is doing it, so it can't be all bad, or hey if Ellen D is and soooo many movies and TV shows Gays as ok, then it is acceptable, which it isn't. God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
If you see this guy again, try and explain the scriptural perspective on Homosexuality, and where it will end up for them if they don't repent.
You are not alone in being repulsed by this subject, but God has made us able Ministers for his word, to be spread to everyone lost in Sin.
