Default I need some help - Witness to JH

EDIT: I put "JH" in the title. I was thinking of something else and mistyped. I wanted to say 7th Day Adventist.

It should read I have a friend whose Daughter-In-Law is either a 7th Day Adventist or Mormon. Her Son "converted" (I don't think he has any real idea about any of it. I think he's just kind of going along.) Anyway, my friend is not a strong Christian (I'm not even really sure she is a Christian).

Another friend has witnessed to the young lady before and basically been told mind his own business, she's happy with her beliefs. I would like to send my friend an email imploring her to talk to her Son and his wife about Jesus. I need to impress on her to make sure she's right with God and that her family is too.

Any advice or direction will be most appreciated. :)

Lord I just lift up this situation to you, we want so much for those that don't know you to come to that knowledge. You are the way, the truth and the life. Open the doors and give them the opportunities and the boldness to speak your truth to them. Pour your mercy out on these dear ones we love and care about that your name may be exalted and your power known. Thank you for Warthog and give he and his friend wisdom and direction and thank you that you hear us and will answer.

In Jesus's precious name I pray
    Amen

    Warthog,
I was married to a mormon...well his mom is staunch mormon...and I was a young Christian and I pretty much told the truth...that if she was depending on anything other than the blood of Jesus Christ, that she would be go to hell.

I didn't say it in an evil way...but my husband after that point totally persecuted me.

His mother was very sweet about it...but it never impacted her.

I still pray for her...her mom just passed and she also was mormon and it was very sad to think about it.

They believe they can attain godhood...and I didn't understand all they believed till after I married.
We just have to keep praying...Brighim Young's grandaughter came to the truth and came out of mormonism....nothing is impossible with God...trust in Him.

I believe, and I could be wrong, that the Seven Day Adventists put Joseph Smith on the same level as Jesus.

We had two young boys visit our home one day preaching their beliefs, and ask us to pray to Jesus and Joseph Smith.

Of course, they got 'witness' to,but people who are steep into religion, are hard to reach~

First of all, WartHog, the Lord needs to lay upon your heart what He would have you do.

I consider that's why you posted, too.

I would share your testimony of salvation to this family, and email often what God is doing in your own life.

I would always stay away from 'religion, and bring the conservation back to Christ.'

Share a verse or two from Romans each time you post at the bottom of your email.

Be gentle, and try not to push.

    Always pray,and keep on praying....

What is important is your obedience to the Lord, and to plant the seed.

Don't get discourage because you may never know 'if' and 'when' the seed was planted.

    Soooo don't get discourage.....

A very wise post. I'm no theologian; but the part above about being gentle brought back memories of what my father told me once about sharing the gospel. He told me you have to present it in such a manner that the person will want to know more and want to come to Christ.

Thanks again everyone for the help and direction.

I copied the letter on Salvation written by Robert in this thread (Salvation) and sent it out to my friend and a bunch of other people I know.

I'll try to post back how it goes. Please pray they all receive it with the love of Jesus and that the words move on each of their hearts and in their spirits. :)

I sent this directly to my friend's Daughter-In-Law I wrote about in the original post (and quite a few others :)). She wrote me back and said she didn't know why I was concerned. She said she is a Christian. I am certain she is a member of one of the Apostate Churches (Mormon or LDS). Please continue to pray for her when you think of it. Thanks.
