    Default a rapture question

will people who don't believe in the rapture but believe in Jesus as their lord and savior be raptured or left behind?
I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord Philippians 3:8

vicky, in all my reading about the rapture, the writers all state that ALL true believers will be raptured. i think that's true. i know of believers who love the Lord just as we do, yet differ on the rapture event. HE IS COMING FOR HIS BELIEVERS - with that said, if anyone has scripture that states otherwise, please put it out here so we can all take a look at it. thanks

I agree. Just as our salvation is complete in Him, so is our future completely dependent on Him.

Paul pointed out that we are all in different places in our walk.
Some are still on milk and some are able to digest meat.

But, our salvation and future are 100% to His glory.

Open door and Ruth, two great responses! You are, of course, absolutely correct. Our being raptured does not depend one bit on what we do, it depends only on what Christ did. Providing you are in Christ—in other words a true blood-bought, blood-washed believer—then you are going up ... regardless of whether—as Ruth says—you are on milk or strong meat.
