Default The mystery of the skeletons and the fall of Jerusalem

An archaeological scandal stirs Jerusalem this week: Who were the thousands of people whose
skeletons were filmed by journalist Benny Liss at the foot of the eastern wall on Temple Mount?
Were they victims of a Second Temple-era massacre or simply corpses buried in a Byzantine
    gravesite?

The Eastern Gate always intrigues me. Ezekiel tells us the Spirit of the Lord will again enter through this gate in the future, Ez. 43:4.
Cool site that reviews some of the History of Israel as released by the Library of Congress:

    Golden Gate
Picture a Day: The Gates of Jerusalem, Part IV: The Golden Gate -- Sha'ar Harachamim

Article for today, note Abraham Lincolns desire and the fact that the Jerusalem Post will have an article on this coming this week.

    In Christ,

Daniel 12:3 (New King James Version)

Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

According to what I've read, Muslims who conquered Jerusalem (I forget when) were aware of that prophecy so they placed a graveyard there so the Spirit would supposedly have to defile himself by passing through dead bodies in order to enter through that gate. I guess in their minds that makes it impossible for the prophecy to be fulfilled.

As if that could stop the lord.
