Will the Boy Scouts Reverse Its Anti-Gay Policy?

For 102 years, the Boys Scouts of America has excluded homosexual boys and adult volunteers with such unapologetic
conviction that one has to wonder if there’s a badge for that. But after coming under fire for ousting an openly gay den
mother, the organization says it’s considering a resolution to end its contentious membership policy.

Jennifer Tyrell, 32, was dismissed from her 7-year-old son’s Tiger Cubs pack in April over her sexuality. Since then, a
change.org petition demanding her reinstatement has collected nearly 300,000 signatures. Tyrell’s son presented the
petition to officials at the Boy Scouts annual meeting last month.

pretty simple IMHO... keep your deviant behavior to yourself and no one will bother you. Now how about we get 9 million people to say it's NOT OK to be GAY to sign a peition and give it to the BSOA?

The Scouts movement turned their backs on God a long time ago & chose to become secular. There is nothing stopping them becoming totally perverted like the rest of the world.



When the God of Abraham, Isacc and Jacob and the Father of Jesus Christ is absent, there cannot be any godliness.

They made the decision NOT to ALLOW gays to be in leadership positions, from den mom to paid positions, no gays.

If they had made this choice they would have lost a huge portion of membership, between the evangelical Christians that believe in the Boy Scout program for their sons to the mormons that actually teach that boys should be enrolled in Boy Scouts from 1st grade to Eagle Scout graduate they would have lost probably close to half their memberships. They could not afford that. I would like to think their decision was based on the beliefs of those in charge, and perhaps they were, but I think that fear of financial repercussion also had an impact.
