I share in your pain. I had no idea this took place in comic books that our children read. We must be close to lift off!

Distorted, skewed world views have become normal in the eyes of the masses. We should be just as outraged with every show that depicts a man and woman that have a sexual relationship outside the covenant of marriage, we hardly notice anymore though, because it has been considered normal for such a long time now. If we have 10 more years on this planet will we barely notice the references to gay couples? Lord please keep us strong in our convictions, help us to fight this tidal wave for we know this will not end before we are taken out of here.

It's more than that...it's in the comic books that are sold to children, it's about introducing a sinful lifestyle to innocents that really don't know to be bothered by a superhero's sexuality...especially since it can't possibly have anything to do with stopping the 'bad guy', so why put it in?

Sure, I plan on no longer giving them my money, but I'm tired of everything that should be okay, bowing down to a lobby that represents such a small number of professed 'gays'. Why can't our children simply BE children?

This thing becomes more and more accepted as normal especially in Thailand. There is a music super star who is a transgender and is capable of singing in both male and female voices. My wife showed me the youtube of this person in a grand concert the other day dressing as a woman but one song she/he sings as a female voice and next song sings as a male voice while dressing like a woman. It's disgusting to me but my wife and obviously a lot of people in Thailand loves it. What a twisted world we live in now!

If it helps, American comic books are hardly as popular as they used to be ten to twenty years ago. From my personal observations, it's all about manga now. Whether that's a good thing or not depends however.

Anyway, this just seems shoehorned in to try and get more readers. Sounds like desperation due to falling comic sales to me.

I was reading and hearing about the idea that DC comics was going to make Superman homosexual. Apparently this caused such an uproar that they changed their minds and have decided to make the golden age Green Lantern; Alan Scott, be homosexual. Not to be confused with the Green Lantern of the movie that just came out, Hal Jordan. Not that this makes a difference to me which one it is, as the fact that it just exists is enough for me. They already made Batwoman a Lesbian. Then of course Marvel comics has gone ahead with its "Gay Marriage" of the out of the closet character, North Star. NEVER going to waste any more of my time and money on comic books. I used to collect comic books when I was younger and it wasn't that much better then. The themes being protrayed were not something that any parent might want there children to be assaulted with. Alcoholism, drug use... And the list goes on. Just wait though it will be the pedophiles who start clamoring for protected rights amongst the people. One could say; that'll never happen pedophilia is illegal, but then again so was homosexuality at one point.

Of course the Lord will not allow it for much longer.

All this is just storing up His wrath. God is just and patient and will not pour out His wrath until it is well and truly deserved.

Just another wicked thing the world has done to deserve the Wrath that is about to come upon mankind.

That could be true but I think it also all about the complete utter degradation of the pop culture. Their day is coming. For months now I have had fleeting visions in my mind of all of us rising to meet the Lord and on the earth fear, pain, anguish, screaming, wondering amazement, sobbing and tears that are uncontrollable. I know it is the Lord showing me the depth of the darkness being lifted from the eyes of many as they notice they were with a Christian one moment, some of them in mockery and argument, and then in a split second the Christian is gone!! For so many that is what it is going to take to open their eyes. Sad but true.

You are correct in many cases but the Lord still has His remnant. The Gates of Hell will never prevail against the church of God. The churches you speak of are a thorn in my side, but they will be exposed and when the rapture occurs they will get the opportunity to face off with the real god they serve. Mans idea of what morality should be is nothing more than the creation writing a job description for God. It is pretty Arrogant AND Pretentious to presume that doing such will go unnoticed.

dead baby in trunk of car FL

It does not matter one bit what the Authors say these characters are now... It only matters what you thought they were when you were a kid reading the comics... They were not gay then, they were not gay in your imagination, so they were not gay notwithstanding any crap that the current owners, authors, or liberal activists say now.

Because they are not real. Unreal characters cannot display moral character, but can only be used as props to tell the story. An author ( or in many cases new owner as the original authors are dead) cannot back track on stories already been told.

So while they can claim that Green Lantern is gay now... he was not - and while they can write their immoral filth into the comic books now, it does not change the past.

So, as a once avid reader of moral, uplifting super hero comics, none of them were gay, they were all Christian, and strove to do good. And guess what? Nothing the current authors say can change that fact!

That is one thing the God put into place: Historical Truth - no matter how evil tries to rail against the Truth, it is the Truth, and nothing can go back and change it.

I see your point... But here is my take (I could be wrong) but I think kids who read comic books don;t give a crap about the characters sexual preferences, I know I did not even think about that when I read comic books, and if the books were trying to push that agenda, they would have been boring and I would have done something else. And that is my hope - that DC and Marvel will either shape up or go out of business.

Comics are not supposed to be about this crap! sheesh!
