The Pentagon recently activated its global missile shield in anticipation of North Korea’s launch of a long-range missile, according to defense officials.

The measures include stepped-up electronic monitoring, deployment of missile interceptor ships, and activation of radar networks to areas near the Korean peninsula and western Pacific.

Three interceptor ships near Japan and the Philippines, as well as U.S.-based interceptors, are ready to shoot down the North Korean missile if space-, land-, and sea-based sensors determine its flight path is targeted at the United States or U.S. allies, said officials who spoke on condition of anonymity.

According to U.S. officials, current intelligence assessments indicate the North Korean missile will be launched from a base called Tongchang-ri, located on a west coast peninsula north of Pyongyang between April 12 and April 15.

Its set to Launch around April 12-15........Is that a coincidence..???Thats the same Time Frame US,and the West has given Iran to hault their Nuclear Program,And said the windows closing soon before Israel Attacks !!Things in this world are getting dangerous..Just Today Russia ,China, Iran set to counter US/Israeli strike against Iran. US-led naval drill .................

The rocket that is sitting on the Tongchang-ri launch pad is capable of lifting one or more nuclear warheads into earth orbit and therefore to a target of North Korean/Iranian desires virtually anywhere on planet earth. That we are currently unable to determine exactly what the payload might be is reason enough to shoot the rocket down in the boost phase or mid-phase of its flight.

The North Koreans and their Iranian allies intend this launch to be a message. Our plan, and that of our allies - like Japan, is to preempt this message from ever getting delivered.

Only a fool trusts communists and muslims without verification.

Kind of like the Chinese diesel sub that showed up inside the pickets of one of our battle groups a few years back or that possible sub-launched missile test (that was neither confirmed nor accurately described) that shot across the western pacific a while back.

There was also a Chinese general who openly stated the purpose of the modernization effort in the PLA and PLN was to engage and defeat the US in battle.

What do we do....come up with plans to cut assets by almost half.

None of us are about to run down to Home Depot and grab 50 gallons of "anti-rocket house paint" and paint the house with it to keep those pesky missiles out of the windows and stuff! Scripture tells us to "look up", not "FREAK OUT". Do we look like we trust the Lord right about now? Or do we look like we're being blown about by the winds of panic? That's the nature of FUD, and if we're scared silly, then all we're saying to the lost is that our "faith" is only for when its' convenient for us, and that at the sign of any sort of trouble, we falter and wilt.

This North Korean rocket is being referred to as the Unha-3 (Unha = Galaxy). It is the equivilent of what rocket analysts have long characterized as being an Iranian Shahab-6 ICBM.
