    ORLANDO, FL -- Trayvon Martin's mother, Sabrina Fulton, has filed two applications for trademarks containing her late son's name.

    The Smoking Gun website is reporting that Fulton is seeking to trademark the phrases "I Am Trayvon" and "Justice for Trayvon."

    According to filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the trademarks are for use on "Digital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin," and other products.

    Each of the March 21 filing cost $325.

    They were filed by an Orlando, Florida law firm representing Fulton, according to The Smoking Gun.

    Well, this combined with her release of pictures of Trayvon only as a child combined with her assertion that he was a young boy on his way home from the store with a bag of Skittles, is beginning to paint a picture of this mother as someone who is not so much interested in justice but rather in crafting a narrative that will lift her to mass popularity and, it would seem, toward a healthy income from this tragedy.

    Trayvon's mom should trademark "I am Trayvon" along with the image of him on his Facebook page. That image shows 17-year old Trayvon, shirt-off, flipping double F U birds into the Facebook viewers face. Perfect trademark testimonial for an unredeemed street punk; something to remember him by.

    well now that the media is starting to turn after they found out that he

    was suspended from school at least 3 times
    had burgurlary tools
    smoked weed
    possibly struck a bus drive
    was in the process of beating down Mr. Zimmerman before he got himself shot (justified imho)
