Family, before anyone come and let evil thoughts arise, i have to say that i agree with what he stands for. But I am sorry brethren, but it sounds like a double balance in our "judgement" if we may count it as such when we agree that it is a sin and we will stand against it, which should be our portion as children of God. But as such shouldnt we also be stnding up against lying? liars will not inherit the kingdom...what about adulterors?...if a man shall look upon a woman and think a lustful thought about her in his heart, is counted the same as if you had sinned right?...what about coveters? man, i fall into coveting so often, and it can even be inside the church...coveting a position, or a favor...etc...i believe if we are gonna stand up for anything should be for the full truth, and the full gospel of Grace...that yes, we stand against the sin that enslaves us...but not against the sinner, for we do not war against flesh and blood...but in the same manner that Jesus preached first, repent for the kingdom of God is at hand, He ate with the sinners, and had mercy on them, and loved them, for the sick need a physician, not the well...please, dont think im against the truth brother cameron is stand up for, i just think that if we are gonna stand against sin, we should stand against all sin, and present the Solution, as the full Gospel has. We all just need more agape love, and if you think just this agape wont solve the problem of focus in a persons life you fail to recognize this Love turns the person's eyes to Jesus, and His Love always directs you into instruction, and being able to receive instruction from the Spirit...but the only way for the sinner to repent and realize his behaviour is sin, is being loved despite his sin...as the Lord does to us...which will be life changing for everyone that tasted the Lord is good cannot help but fall in love with Him...but now im rambling...anyways, love in the Lord family.

Well, I personally am applauding his courage to speak the truth in answer to specific questions posed to him.

Here's the thing....there isn't legislation that I'm aware of that's attempting to legalize adultery, lying, stealing, etc. and make these things acceptable by the law of the land.

Shall the church simply speak of love, and not truly love by warning against sin, especially specific sin that which is openly accepted and legalized in many states?

Did not John, Jesus' cousin specifically warned Herod about his particular sin of adultery...was it not love to speak against this open, accepted, specific sin? I'm sure Herod had many other sins but this one in particular was addressed.

Of course all sin should be spoken against, of course we should allow the love of Christ show in us. What I saw in this interview was a man of God lovingly speaking the truth to questions being posed to him, without hate, without anger. We need to support and pray for him because just as in the case of Herod, those who's particular sins are being exposed will attempt to come up against the messenger.

While I agree with the message posted by Yehoshua, I agree equally with what Everlasting Life has just said. The two are not mutually exclusive. The context of the Piers Morgan conversation was over the changing of the law to legalize a sin. In that context it is important to stand up and speak plainly ... regardless of what that sin may be. At this time it is LGBT marriage. And the legalization of such relationships not only legalizes the sin but effectively works to destroy the relationship that God ordained in male-female marriage which is not only for the raising of spiritually-healthy families but is also supposed to function as a picture of God's relationship with the Church.

Further Kirk demonstrated himself to be a true follower of Jesus Christ by the love and gentleness he manifested as he spoke. After all, the Word says we will be known as Christ's by our love. Yet he did not soften his position one bit in the face of hard and challenging questions.

Good for Kirk! May the Lord God give him even greater power to witness than he now has!

Kirk says homosexuality is unnatural. Good for him standing up! However one could split hairs.

I say it is an egregious sin due to its corrosive nature to society's fabric. (as in the days of Noah)

However the murder in our hearts condemns us before we can open our mouths to ask forgiveness for our sin.

Thank God the Father for tasking His only Son to the death of the Cross taking the full weight of mankind's sin (whosoever will)!

I could not have said it better!!! EverlastingLife makes an awesome point as well. I am openly going to stand against the legalization of any sin that the government or the general public tries to legalize. In this case LGBT's. What Kirk said is straight and to the point and He said it like a Born-Again believer should. He stood strong and even deliniated between which law of morality he stands for opposed to that which Peiers stands for. Although, cut-off, it was a really good point and Kirk said it well.

He did good but not good enough, He squirmed just like franklin graham, instead of just coming out with the truth he tried to talk around it, piers more or less had him in his pocket.

Maybe he was being prudent but when Kirk was asked the question "Do you think homosexuality is a sin"--he placated it. I would have said yes because God says it is sin. Other than that, yes I applaud him for speaking the truth in love. --Maybe he felt that coming out and saying a direct yes was not love but harsh.

However, Jesus did not downplay the truth. When he said you must deny yourself take up your cross and follow me, he talked about how we must hate ( using strong hyperbolic language) our mother, our sister brother even your own life---.it sounds so harsh but it's not

When Jesus had fed the 5000+ people, he didn't continue to feed their belly. They were following Jesus and He made a very strong statement-Jhn 6:53 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you."

My point-he held back nothing when it came to the truth. no grey areas only black and white.
