    Republican congressional candidate denies Holocaust
    By JPOST.COM STAFF 03/01/2012 17:09
Arthur Jones, hoping to represent Illinois district in US Congress, calls Holocaust "the blackest lie in history."
IL Republican Congressional candidate Art Jones By Art Jones Campaign

A Republican candidate for US Congress from Illinois has denied that the Holocaust ever occurred, regional newspaper the Oaklawn Patch reported on Wednesday. “As far as I’m concerned, the Holocaust is nothing more than an international extortion racket by the Jews,” Arthur Jones, 64, was quoted by the Patch as saying. Jones, an insurance salesman from Lyons, Illinois, is a Republican candidate seeking to run against Democratic Congressman Dan Lipinski in Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District.

According to the regional newspaper, Jones referred to the Holocaust as "the blackest lie in history. Millions of dollars are being made by Jews telling this tale of woe and misfortune in books, movies, plays and TV. The more survivors, the more lies that are told." Jones also organizes neo-Nazi events commemorating Adolf Hitler's birthday, according to the Patch.

...so what happened in the deathcamps? The mass graves? The ghetto? The Nazis that eventually made it to trial? All an elaborate lie? REALLY?!? If the Holocaust never happened...then what was Hitler doing? Holding a quilting bee with all the subhumans?

This man is old enough to have had parents or family members that served during the war, to have learned history at the feet of his dad or granddad....is he that much of a baffoon? No wonder he's in politics, he can lie with the best of them. Too bad he's with the wrong party though. I can't believe the Rebulican party would even allow this maniac to run on their ticket.

Well, that's one less seat the Democrats have to worry about.

Maybe he should run as a member of the American Nazi Party. RanYakumo, I have to believe that you're correct, a win for the Democrat.

How can a person even deny the Holocaust ever happened with so much proof. Tell that to the people who died in the death camps and to those who survived them.

It sounds like he has a lot in common with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who himself has voiced his disagreement with recorded history.

He claims to be a Republican, but in the lefty state of Illinois, it just means he's a semi conservative liberal who thinks he has a better chance running as a Republican. Get the tar and feathers.

Folks, I live in New Jersey, and even I know that Arthur Jones, formerly of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and now living in Lisle, Illinois, has been a member of the American Nazi Party and an over-the-top racist for the past 40 years or so.

You have to wonder about the Republicans in his congressional district actually selecting him as their candidate!

Really wouldn't be surprised to learn (as if we'd ever) that this guy was paid off by Democrats to run so they could say, "See? Told you Republicans were Nazis". These dirty politics have always happened. There's billions to be lost in losing elections. We've seen before "self inflicted" wounds (were Democrats have fire bombed, attacked, etc) their own political party office just to blame it on the other party. Nothing new here.

Sadly dude, I think you have to wonder about Republicans period. I am a conservative first, Republican second and I have to ask, where are the true conservatives? Yes, I know, there are some out there, but, right now I don’t see many.

    Our country is in shambles…..

But surely the registered Republican or Democrat Party voters in any district search out the character and beliefs of someone they are considering putting up before the electorate as their representative??? I can only conclude that the conservative voters of this Illinois district either a) didn't bother to do their basic homework, or b) are closet Nazis themselves.

Being a citizen of the State of IL, I have to say I am not surprised. remember that this is OB's state!! At any rate, The state of Illinois is largely a Conservative Republican state outside of Chicago where this dying soul is a transplant. We are always frustrated here because Chicago has most of the IL population and electorates. A good example is the 2010 Gubernatorial election. The state went 106 counties Republican and 6 Democrat.

This Candidate is from Chicago where the republicans vote just as much Democrat. Despite that information, he seriously needs prayer. This guy is a mental case in my book.

Patrick J. Quinn, III Sheila Simon Democratic 1,745,219 46.79%
Bill Brady Jason Plummer Republican 1,713,385 45.94%

    Red Democrat
Blue Republican - the darker the blue the more Republican.

He would have never got a nod in any other location.
    God bless!

One would hope Matt. I pride myself of at least knowing the major issues each candidate stands for, but, how a person can get to this stage with that kind of mindset is crazy.

I am a Rick Santorum (I know, different discussion) supporter but would vote for a bag of sand over BO.

In Chicago Politics ..anything can happen. I vote that it is the most politically corrupt city in the nation if not the world. In Chicago it is all about "favors" and "who you know" that matter, not what you believe. Not even close. So I could run on a ticket that says the world is flat and if I am an insider or a Democrat, in that city I will get elected. Then if someone brings it up they will say either, "he/she did not say it" or "we misunderstood the meaning trying to be conveyed." I am not attacking the "Democrats in name" on this board, I am only attacking the ethics of those in Chicago. Its terrible, just terrible.

I can’t imagine what it would be like, but, I am guessing there is a lot of pressure in that city to ignore the “dirty” part or secrets and vote party over principle….

    Good luck this Fall!!!
