Science decodes 'internal voices'

Researchers have demonstrated a striking method to reconstruct words, based on the brain
waves of patients thinking of those words.

The technique reported in PLoS Biology relies on gathering electrical signals directly from patients' brains.

Based on signals from listening patients, a computer model was used to reconstruct the sounds of words that
patients were thinking of.

Don't you love how they throw a "humanitarian" quotation in the middle of the introduction of this new scientific breatkthrough to try and minimize the dangers of such a device?

Exactly faith! I've seen too far too many tribulation movies to miss the implications of
technology like this. The Anti-Christ and his boys could have a field day with it. Not that I
will be here to worry about it but I may know some people who just might...
