    Default ‘Occupiers’ Throw Bibles, Allegedly Urinate on Cross

    http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes...ow-bibles.html

    Members of the Occupy Wall Street movement urinated on a cross, desecrated a church and threw Bibles at police officers in separate incidents over the weekend.

    Protesters in San Francisco occupied an abandoned hotel and began attacking police – hurling bricks and Bibles at officers.

    “Once they gained access [to the hotel], some of them made it to the top of the roof and they began to throw Bibles down at the officers,” San Francisco Police Dept. spokesman Carlos Manfredi told ABC News.

    Several officers were injured in the attack.

    In New York City, Occupy protesters allegedly urinated on a cross inside a Brooklyn church.

    “An occupier peed inside the building and the pee came into contact with a cross,” wrote Rabbi Chaim Gruber in a note to the New York Post.

    The Occupy Wall Street movement has a history of participants urinating and defecating in public.

    The group has also been accused of desecrating West Park Presbyterian Church. The pastor ordered 60 protesters to leave the sanctuary after someone stole a bronze lid from the $12,500 baptismal font.

    “It was like pissing on the 99 percent,” an angry Rev. Bob Brashear told the New York Post.

    The pastor supports the Occupy movement – but is outraged over their behavior.

    “Even in the 1980s when we had a lot of crack addicts etc. in the neighborhood, and even robbing people in the church, that particular religious symbol had never really been disturbed before,” the pastor told CBS News. “I tried to make it clear that I don’t believe in collective punishment but I do believe in collective accountability and responsibility.”
    "It is therefore a profound truth that Socialism is the natural enemy of religion. A Christian Socialist is in fact an anti-Socialist. Christianity is the antithesis of Socialism" - Socialism and Religion, Socialist party of Great Britain, 1911.

    This is no surprise. Even though the "occupiers" think they are acting on their own volition, the Bible is clear that they are not. I pray there are people in the front lines there who are bearing the gospel to these people. And may we all be praying for them. They are indeed blind and do not know where they are heading.

    Unless this country actually repents we're going no where but down the tubes. And we're in the fast lane.

    These people have no idea what they're doing or why...but they'll learn soon enough.

    But if they were really brave, they would have done this to the Koran. But yet, they know Christians won't do a thing because free will and aversion to violence is the rule of the day. How brave of them. Pffft!

    So many people have not the fear of God these days. I pray our nation see the light of Jesus before it is too late.
    The word was made flesh = Jesus John 1:14

    These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace.
    In the world ye will have tribulation but be of good cheer;
    I have overcome the world. John 16:33 Halleluiah!!!

    It is time for the occupier's to be disbanned and find something else to do.....perhaps something constructive.

    San Francisco...'nuff said for that one.

    As for NY....the liberal east coast for the most part...it sure is telling what this movement is, a gathering of people with no morality nor intelligence of any sort, collective or otherwise.

    Bullies and Cowards! Picking on Christians knowing we will not retaliate.

    I noticed they haven't tried this with a Mosque and a Koran.

    About time they were packed up and sent home.

    I don't get it. Can't the police arrest these hoodlums. Isn't there a law against desecrating a church???!!!???

    Amazing love! How can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

    Actually, that is a good point there. If anything there's got to be accountability for property damage.

    You mean like taking a shower, and getting a job?I have to tell everyone here what I think of this attitude of entitlement that SO many people in this country have, and it stinks. There are actually some jobs out there. The Wal-Mart I work at is amost always hiring. Fast Food places almost always need help. In fact the military is also always looking for recruits. Hey, but these jobs might be beneath someone. I was always of the opinion and was raised to believe that nothing is beneath a person. I would dig ditches if nothing else were available to support my family.

    I mean, I myself am extremely grateful and feel blessed that I have a job, and especially one that pays more than minimum wage. Additionally I always do my upmost to do the best possible job that I can. And why not, they pay me for that. Lots of people have some very unrealistic ideas about how things work, and I have to admit that I've been caught up in that myself when I was younger. Its seems like some feel, get a degree and instant job making $50,000+ dollars an hour. And don't expect REAL work to have to get done, that's for the plebians out there. Never mind that degree be in something that has absolutely zero impact on anything in the real world.
    I have my liberal arts general studies degree, where's my job at the head of a multibillion dollar a year company?

    As far as throwing Bibles, and maybe urinating on an image of the cross? Well I feel sorry for them that they feel this way. I do, and I forgive them for it. Yes, they would NEVER do anything like this to a Koran because that would be Islamophobic. Can't have that now can we? Saddened, but not so suprised by this behavior. I guess since they believe they are nothing more than animals, then they should just go ahead and act like animals. I mean these are the same groups that were relieving themselves in public after all. YUCK! I pray that these folks turn to the Lord, and accept Jesus as their savior.

    Romans 1:18-32
    18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

    19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

    20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

    21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

    22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

    23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

    24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

    25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

    26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

    27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

    28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

    29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

    30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

    31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

    32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
