Obama Admin Mandates Religious Employers Cover Contraception Cost, Catholic Bishops Furious

The Catholic Bishops of the United States are reportedly furious over what they call the “literally
unconscionable” decision by the Obama Administration to require that contraception be included
in virtually all health plans provided by religious-affiliated institutions to their employees.

The announcement means that the mandate and its narrow exemption will not change. Rather, there
will be a delay in enforcement against some employers.

The simple fact is that the only true safe sex is abstaining from sex. One does NOT have to have sex to live. Yes it is how we carry on our families and continue the human race. But it REALLY needs to be done safely and within proper limits, say as in the family unit? Mom and Dad having kids, etc... This is why God gave us the rules that we were given. When someone says Planned Parenthood, I think of the people who take the time to actually plan on having kids and taking all the necessary steps to do so. NOT the group PLANNED PARENTHOOD. And while I do believe in helping my fellow man, WHY should people be expected to pay for a person's indescrections? Again, the only true SAFE SEX is abstinence as archaic as that sound to so many people these days. I know everyone here is aware of these things, but I personally wish more people would realize this. SO many people I've run into mock holy matrimony, but as long as people are not going outside of their marriages then there wouldn't be the problems that we have in my own humble opinion.

Many forms of "contraception" involve abortion. I, for one, am sick of our government trying to dictate in every aspect of our lives. These "know it alls," want to micromanage us in every way that we'll let them. If they're all so brilliant, why are we in the mess we're in, financially, morally, politically, etc.?

Abstaining from sex is not the only way as some people are born without the ability to reproduce and there are pretty much perminate surgical procedures that can prevent conception (tube ties, vasectomy,)

Sex is wonderful inside of marriage and I would not deny my wife the intimacy that she wants from me. Sex outside of marrige is nothing but trouble and it shows in our society with amazing clarity....

The government has brainwashed our society to depend on government to tell us what we can and cant do by laws and such. This is where we are headed . Wow is all I can say. I never thought I would see the day when the lies and deceipts coming from our government are so forceful. God have mercy on this nation.
