Default Iran Pastor Rejects 'Recant for Freedom' Deal

    Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Iranian officials are continuing to pressure detained Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani to deny his
Christian faith "and accept the prophet Muhammad as his savior."

The American Center for Law and Justice, which is working closely with Nadarkhani's case,
confirmed Tuesday that the pastor was recently asked again to recant his faith.

We need to keep praying for this pastor. Never having been in his position in a brutal, anti-Christian country, we cannot even begin to imagine the terror that tries to attack his mind and faith every day. May his faith and resolve remain strong and may Almighty God be glorified in this situation.

Fears for Iranian pastor facing execution | Christian News on Christian Today

There are unconfirmed reports that the Iranian authorities have decided to go ahead with the execution of a pastor.
Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani was sentenced to death for apostasy and has been in prison for several months as he awaits the outcome of his appeal.
According to Christian Solidarity Worldwide, his lawyer is trying to confirm reports that the Iranian authorities have decided to uphold the death sentence.
CSW is concerned that Nadarkahni will be executed at any time without prior notification and that the authorities will merely announce it later, a practice the organisation says is not uncommon in Iran.

Amazing love! How can it be that Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

Father, we are asking for pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's life. But if this is not according to Your perfect will, then we ask that his death bring others to Your Son. May a new soul come to Jesus Christ wherever a drop of martyr's blood is shed.

Lord, we affirm that we have no doubt whatsoever that if You choose to take him home, that You will both comfort and provide for his wife Fatemeh and their two young sons. May they live to serve you in Iran as did the wives and children of Jim Elliott, Nate Saint, and the other three missionaries in Ecuador back when I was still a child. Amen.

Yes, Father, please protect Youcef, Your will be done. You are his reward Jesus..remind him of that. You are our reward.

    Matthew 10:28
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Matt. 10:32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

I can only hope and pray i would have the same courage and strength if in his shoes.

Praying for his safety and that he will be able to return safe to his family and continue spreading the Word of God.. also praying that he continues to have the strength to hold onto the Truth that is only found in Jesus. If he should die, we know that eternal gifts and an eternity with our Father awaits him.

    God's will be done.

Oh, and apparently Islam is a religion of "peace"...
John 16:33 - “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
