Bible Our Bible is a Historically Accurate Book

    Abraham lived 1992-1817 B.C. Isaac lived 1892-1712 B.C. Jacob lived 1832-1685 B.C. Joseph llived 1741-1631 B.C.

The cities of Sodom and Shechem prove the historical accuracy of our Bible in these last days.

Real Egyptian history and chronology. 2007-1913 B.C. Pepi II reigns over Egypt; Pepi II has trade relations with Sodom a city destroyed in 1893 B.C. some 20 years after Pepi II dies. Abraham age 75 and Sarah age 65 meet 96 year old Pepi II (born in 2013 B.C.) some 4 years before Pepi II died. Genesis 12:17 God plagued this bi-sexual king.

Abydos Egyptian kings list states after Pepi II died the next king is Mentuhotep II who reigns 1913-1862 B.C. (Biblical Chronology time) 1862-1850 B.C. Mentuhotep III 1850-1843 B.C. Mentuhotep IV 1843-1813 B.C. Amenemehet I 1813-1777 B.C. Senusert I 1777-1743 B.C. Amenemhet II 1743-1724 B.C. Senusert II and 1724-1685 B.C. Senusert III.

Joseph arrived in Egypt at the time Senusert II had died. Senusert III had annexed Canaan which includes Shechem. Joseph managed both the economies of Egypt and Canaan. Genesis 47:13-17. 1702 B.C. (Remember Joseph was 30 when becoming governor of Egypt. 7 years of plenty and 2nd year of famine = Joseph is 39 when Jacob age 130 enters Egypt in 1702 B.C.) Jacob dies in 1685 B.C. and Senusert III dies a few months later. Amenemhet III 1685-1640 B.C. completes Bahr Yusef (Joseph's canal) The Canaanite/Amorite/Hyksos entered Egypt in 1702 B.C. They helped in building irrigation projects.

People mock our Bible and act like Jews never had a history or don't have any right to live in Israel. Ancient history proves the Jews were in Egypt. Exodus 1:8 shows the Egyptians erased Joseph's name from Egyptian records so a pharoah would arise who knew not Joseph by the time Moses was born-the records were purged (by pharaoh Ahmose.)

    ljujack Skylark, Shalom, and Welcome.

I am not sure where you received the dates you use, but either your numerics, or mine, do err. If Abraham, Biblically speaking, was born 1,950 years after Adam (AA) and Jesus was born approximately 4,004 AA, subtracting 1950 from 4004, has Abraham being born 2054 BC, and the math from there does not jive. My chart does not agree with the dates you offer.

(Genesis 11:26 Abraham listed 1st because of his importance not because of birth order.)

Lujack, your Chronology lines up nicely with Bishop Usshers. He started in 4004 B.C so there is a 4 year difference. he has Abraham born in 1996 B.C. We will have to talk sometime.

If you have not read it, check out page 102, Chapter 8 of Werner Kellers "The Bible as History" It gives some more information on Josephs canal. Good stuff.

It seems strange that Egyptian priest Manetho's Egyptian chronology stands when created in 280 B.C. Egyptian history starts with a mythical king called Menes who built no square pyramids-when the Tower of Babel was a square zigguriat Pyramid. Egyptians were there at the Tower of Babel before mankind scattered. The Egyptians 1st pyramid was square built in Djoser's reign (Djoser is probably Mizraim) some 800 years after Menes. You would think Egyptian history would have started with the first pyramid but according to pagan priest Manetho-the Egyptians would forget about building for 800 years!

You see how phony Egyptian chronology is? The Sakkara and Abydos Egyptian kings list show a shorter Egyptian history than 30 Egyptian dynasties. The Sakkara Egyptian kings list reveal after Pepi II died the next king was Mentuhotep II who reunited Egypt after a civil war divided Egypt when Pepi II died. This Sakkara list shows Egypt's 7-10 and part of the 11th dynasties were mythical-the kings were fake. The Abydos Egyptian kings list shows after Amenemhet IV died the next king was Ahmose. This shows the 13-17th Egyptian dynasties were phony and Ahmose had destroyed the proseperous Amenemhet/Senusert dynasty. When you take out the phony Egyptian dynasties-the Egyptian history matches are Bible.

Who is the pharoah of the Exodus? We can pinpoint the pharoah by using Bible chronology. 1 Kings 6:1 Solomon's 4th year = 480 years after the Exodus. Solomon reigns 36 more years = 516 years after the Exodus. Rehoboam's 5th year is 521 years after the Exodus when Egyptian king Shishak attacks Jerusalem. 1 Kings 14:25. Shishak dies a few months later in the 521st year after the Exodus.

Now we add up the reigns of Egyptian kings in solo years. Example: Amenhotep II listed 26 years-24 are solo years. Amenhotep II 24 years. Thutmose IV 24-33 years. Amenhotep III 33-71 years. Akenaton 71-88 years. Semenkare 88-89 years. Tutankhamen 89-99 years.Ay 99-103 years. Horemheb 103-134 years. Ramses I 134-135 years. Seti I 135-148 years. Ramses II 148-215 years. Merneptah I 215-227 years. Amenmesses 227-232 years. Seti II 232-237 years. Merneptah II 237-244 years. Queen Tausert 244-246 years. Irsu 246-248 years. Setnakht 248-250 years. Ramses III 250-282 years. Ramses IV 282-288 years. Ramses V 288-292 years. Ramses VI 292-302 years. Ramses VII 302-303 years. Ramses VIII 303-310 years. Ramses IX 310-329 years. Ramses X 329-338 years. Ramses XI 338-365 years. Smendes 365-392 years. Neferkhres 392-396 years. Psusennes I 396-446 years. Amenmope 446-455 years. Osokhor 455-461 years. Siamon 461-481 years-his daughter married king Solomon. Psusennes II 481-500 years and Shishak 500-521 years.

The pharaoh Thutmose III was the pharaoh of the Exodus who reigned before Amenhotep II. This means queen Hatshepsut was the princess whom saved infant Moses. Chart taken from Where the Bible Meets History by Lujack Skylark p. 18. I hope you enjoy this research.

If the Egyptians were at the Tower of Babel as "Egyptians" they were very close relatives of Noah through Ham's son Mizraim of whom we know means Egypt in Hebrew. The Tower was only 110 years after the flood so the earth was not super popoulated at the time. There is debate on whether the Tower was square or round. 1300 years later Herodotus saw one in Babylon that was round from which many engravings are inspired. Obviously it was not the original but it is possible it was made on its foundation. Do you believe the pyramids were pre or post flood? I believe it is possible they survived the flood. Carbon dating, if you can believe it, places them at around 2550 B.C. The flood would have been around 2350 B.C.. The Mesopotamian and Egyptian myth we read about was definitely of pre-flood origin. Although the demonism was continued in the post-flood days as the Tower of Babel attests.

We need to do a population chart. 8 people survived at year 0 after Noah's flood. Noah's wife no longer produced children, so we have 3 women producing children. Girls marry at age 15 or less in the Middle-East. 0-15 years after the flood we could have 3 women producing 24 children. 24 + 8 = 32 people exist. 15-30 years after the flood we could have 9 women producing 63 children. 63 + 32 =95 people exist. 30-45 years after the flood 27 women producing 189 children + 95= 285-5 deaths = 280 people exist. (Remember many people lived over 100 years after the flood) 45-60 years 91 women produce 637 children. 17 deaths 630 + 280= 910 people. 60-75 years some 273 women
produce 1991 children-191=1800+910=2710 people exist. 75-90 years some 819 women
    produce 5733 children-233 deaths=5500 +2710=8210 people exist. 90-105 years after the flood some 2457 women produce 17,199-599 deaths =16,600 + 8210= 24,810 people exist. 105-120 years after the flood 7,371 women produce 51,197 people-1,197 deaths= 50,000 people exist + 24,810=74,810 people. 120-135 years after the flood 22,113 women produce 154,791 children -4,791 =154,791 + 74,810= 222,591 people 135-150 years after the flood 66,339 women produce 464,373 children -24,373 deaths = 440,000 + 222,591 = 662,591 people. 150-165 years after Noah's flood 198,811 women produce 1,381,677 children -281,677 deaths = 1,100,000 + 662,591 people = 1,762,591 people some 165 years after Noah's flood.

A friend has given me this possible population breakdown. I believe the pyramids were built after Noah's flood. I believe Khufu was the son of Snef-ru and Snef-ru was the son of Path-ru (Pathruism in Genesis 10:14. Ism=tribe. Man's name is Pathru) Khufu built the Great Pyramid at Giza with 100,000 workers. Genesis chapter 10 some 7 out of 70 tribes are Egyptian making up 10% of the world's population. 1,762,591 people = 176,259 Egyptians.

Mankind scattered 101 years after the global flood at Peleg's birth. Mizraim/Djoser reigns over Egypt 101-119 years after the flood. Djoser's priest is Imhotep who worships Ptah the deified Path-ru (Genesis 10:14 & Ezekiel 29:14) Snef-ru's father. 119-143 years Snefru reigns over Egypt. 143-165 years after the flood Khufu reigns over Egypt.

There are 326 years from mankind leaving the Tower of Babel to Abraham's 75th year.
0 year of civilization Peleg is born. 30th year Reu is born 62nd year Serug is born. 92nd year Nahor is born. 121st year Terah is born. Terah is 205 Genesis 11:32 when Abraham is 75. Abraham is born 251 year. Abraham is 75 in the 326th year of civilization. The 326th year Abraham's Ur falls to the Elamites.

Lets double check: 0-56 years Accad/Akkad/Agade king Sargon/Nimrod reigns over Sumer. 56-65 years Rimush reigns over Sumer. 65-80 years Manishtushu reigns over Sumer. 80-120 years Naramsin reigns over Sumer. A Sumerian poem states the Gutium brought down Naramsin's empire. 120-211 years the Gutium reign over Sumer. 211-218 years Utu-Khegal reigns over Sumer 218-326 years Abraham's Ur exists. 318th year some 430 years before the Exodus Abraham moves to Haran,Syria. 326th year the Elamites take over Ur. Abraham is gone from Ur as the research shows. (Secular history starts with the Genesis 10:10 city of Accad after mankind leaves Babel. Egyptian history starts after Noah's flood)

Egyptian history does not go back to 3,400 B.C. The Egyptian race did not appear before Noah's flood. There was only one tribe before the flood. Nations were born after Noah's flood.

So according to your chart around 50,000 people possibly exist at the time of Babel. Thats a small population on earth. Then they are scattered in the days of Pelegs birth/childhood. Yes, Mizraim and others were scattered to Egypt. And things started being built in great number. As far as the Antediluvian years around 1656 years of life would have meant millions upon millions were killed during the Flood. Amazingly God's plan of redemption survived from Seth to Noah. Satan and the demons did a number on the rest of mankind who forgot God. It is an interesting study. In my book I focus on redemption from Adam to Christ and the amazing work of God in preserving His Thread of Redemption. Have you ever read Werner Kellers history?

You can preview most of it on google books. I found a lot of things he speaks of interesting. Since you have written on early Biblical history you would most likely find it appealing as well. I was reading another author not long ago who also made an interesting statement about Joseph in Egypt. I will look it up and share it with everyone. It is amazing to me how many billions of people will not even give the Scriptures a first glance. Amazing. What is even more amazing is the longsuffering of the Lord.

Its 2010 A.D. I believe in history and prophecy as a way to lead people to the Bible. Moslem fanatics are trying to erase Israel's history as we see Moslems are destroying Jewish artifacts they found at the Temple Mount. We have the historical puzzle; we just need to put all the pieces together.

The Bible is Historically accurate and Accurate in that it doesn't contradict itself HOWEVER there is much detail we do not have and so we are not sure of many things.

The Bible gives us information that 8 people survived the flood so therefore we can be sure and not just guess that only Noah, his 3 sons and their wives survived.

I Agree the Bible specifies from the 3 sons the Eart was populated.

GE 9:18 The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.) 19 These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the earth.
However did Noah and his wife stop having children? Often the duaghters are not recorded so they may have had some girls that were not recorded we don't know.

Also not every son was recorded or the number of children. So it is a guessing game as to how many children were actually born, married, had children of their own that survived to adulthood and of course married and had children of their own etc...

For Example:- it just says here many sons and daughters
GE 5:3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived 930 years, and then he died.
No doubt in their long lives back then (yes their lives got shortened by the time of the flood but it took some time for the lifespan of man to decrease down to around 120 years) and with God's blessing they had many more children per family than we do today. So from 3 couples we ended up with many cities and many people in many lands by the time Abraham came a long.

There is some controversy as to what dating formula people use to work out what date various events took place. I haven't delved into the dating and calander issues in detail. Not enough patience to really get across the issue. I do know however that the Egyptians had a number of calendars that Archeologists of today seem to quote even though they know they are inaccurate. The fact these calendars are out of wack with other historical events recorded by Secular Historians let alone the Bible is often not mentioned when you listen to documentaries. Why would non-Christians care about getting Historical Events dated correctly to support the Bible? {rhetorical question} They don't have supporting Christian/Jewish History as their prime motive whent hey go about trying to unearth past civilisations.

However the Jewish/Christian historical events can be confirmed and set against Secular Historical records and their calendar dates. Even all the wonderful evidence we can produce to non-Believers is often rejected because people just don't want to accept the Bible is True.

For those of us who do believe we know our God has recorded for us the Truth so we can know what transpired between Himself and mankind throughout our years here on this Earth. Amen

Isn't it interesting when archaeology supports the Bible? We have the Merneptah Stele which Egyptian king Merneptah says "Israel destroyed her seed not". We have the Moabite stone which mentions king Mesha. (Mesha 2 Kings 3:4) Then there is the Assyrian Monolith description about the battle of Qarqar where king Ahab is mentioned by Shalmanesar III, yet Ahab was an enemy of the Syrians-when Shalmanesar III says Ahab was allied with the Syrians. We have ancient kings which lie about Israel, yet admit Israel exists. Many people do not know the Jews have a history connected with Israel. I just thought the research might open some eyes.

Bible Re: Our Bible is a Historically Accurate Book

Traditions reveal the Egyptian pharoahs existing in the time of Moses, Joseph and Abraham.

Moses was taught all the ways of the Egyptians. (Acts 7:22) It was a princess who taught him Egyptian ways and saved Moses life. (Exodus 2:5-10) The princess was Hatshepsut. Her father who wanted Hebrew male babies killed (Exodus 1:15-17) was Thutmose I. Thutmose II was sickly. Queen Hatshepsut ruled for him. Thutmose III was the Exodus pharoah.(1 Kings 6:1) Thutmose III had all Egyptian captives and slaves bow down before Egyptian gods except Moses and the Hebrew people refused.

Joseph shaved. (Genesis 41:14) Joseph served an Egyptian king (Genesis 41:40-41) This king was Senusret III. Archaeologist found a golden razor in Sit-Hathor-Yunet's tomb. She was Senusret III's sister.

Abraham was 75 when he entered Egypt for when Abraham was 76 he lived in Canaan for 10 years (Genesis 16:3) and Ishmael was born when Abraham was 86. (Genesis 16:16) Sarah was 65 years old meeting 96 year old Pepi II. Abraham had married his half sister Sarah (Genesis 20:12) and Pepi II also had married a half sister named Neith. Both Mesopatamian and Egyptian customs were the same. Pepi II was immoral. Pepi II's artifacts were discovered at Byblos which was destroyed by an earthquake some 20 years after Pepi II died when Sodom and Gomorrah was destroyed at the same time. When Abraham enetered Egypt-the Egyptians he feared would kill him to get his wife.(Genesis 12:11-12) Egyptians liked fair women. Pepi II's daughter Nitocris was fair. Pepi II had trade with Sodom. Pepi II covered his naked male and female slaves with honey to keep the flies off him. God would plague him. (Genesis 12:17) The Memphis dynasty fell soon after Pepi II had died.

Abraham visited Pepi II in Egypt's Old Kingdom. Joseph lived in Egypt during Egypt's Middle Kingdom and Moses lived in Egypt during Egypt's New Kingdom according to the way the Egyptian historians arranged Egyptian history. Actually many Egyptian dynasties list kings who never actually existed. This research is based on following Biblical and Egyptian traditions. Moses told the truth when Moses outlined ancient world history.

I think the point is the Bible is a beautifully written, historically factual, and the inspired Word of God.

It is the blueprint for our existence with Him.

The Exodus was in 1495 B.C. not 1446 B.C. yet Solomon's Temple destruction was 586 B.C. when we check out the numbers. (1 Kings 6:1)

    Solomon 1019-979 B.C. (1 Kings 11:42) Rehoboam 979-962 B.C. (1 Kings 14:21) Abijam 962-959 B.C.(1 Kings 15:2) Asa 959-918 B.C. (1 Kings 15:10) Jehoshaphat 918-893 B.C. (1 Kings 22:42) Jehoram 893-885 B.C.(2 Kings 8:17) Ahaziah 885-884 B.C. (2 Kings 8:26)Athaliah 884-878 B.C. (2 Kings 11:1-3) Jehoash 878-838 B.C. (2 Kings 12:1)Amaziah 838-809 B.C. (2 Kings 14:2) Uzziah 809-757 B.C. (2 Kings 15:2)

    Jotham 757-741 B.C. (2 Kings 15:33) Ahaz 741-725 B.C. (2 Kings 16:2) Hezekiah 725-696 B.C. (2 Kings 18:2) Manasseh 696-641 B.C. (2 Kings 21:1) Amon 641-639 B.C. (2 Kings 21:19)Josiah 639-608 B.C. (2 Kings 22:1) Jehoahaz 608 B.C. (2 Kings 23:31) Jehoiakim 608-597 B.C. (2 Kings 23:36) Jehoiachin 597 B.C. (2 Kings 24:8) & Zedekiah 597-586 B.C.

We see Shishak attacking Jerusalem in 974 B.C. Rehoboam's 5th year. (1 Kings 14:25) Shishak died a few months after attacking Rehoboam in 974 B.C. Who was the Exodus pharoah? Reigns given in solo years. Example:Amenhotep II listed 26 years. Solo 24 years.

    Amenhotep II 1495-1471 B.C. Thutmose IV 1471-1462 B.C. Amenhotep III 1462-1424 B.C. Akenaton 1424-1407 B.C. Semenkare 1407-1406 B.C. Tut 1406-1396 B.C. Ay 1396-1392 B.C. Horemheb 1392-1361 B.C. Ramses I 1361-1360 B.C. Seti I 1360-1347 B.C. Ramses II 1347-1280 B.C. Merneptah I 1280-1268 B.C. Amenmesses 1268-1263 B.C. Seti II 1263-1258 B.C. Merneptah II 1258-1251 B.C. Queen Tausert 1251-1249 B.C. Syrian Irsu 1249-1247 B.C. Setnakht 1247-1245 B.C.

    Ramses III 1245-1213 B.C. Ramses IV 1213-1207 B.C. Ramses V 1207-1203 B.C. Ramses VI 1203-1193 B.C. Ramses VII 1193-1192 B.C. Ramses VIII 1192-1185 B.C. Ramses IX 1185-1166 B.C. Ramses X 1166-1157 B.C. Ramses XI 1157-1130 B.C. Smendes 1130-1103 B.C. Neferkhres 1103-1099 B.C. Psusennes I 1099-1049 B.C. Amenmope 1049-1040 B.C. Osokhor 1040-1034 B.C. Siamon 1034-1014 B.C. Psusennes II 1014-995 B.C. & Shishak 995-974 B.C. who dies a few months after attacking Jerusalem.

The pharoah before Amenhotep II is the Exodus pharoah Thutmose III which this chart and Bible chronology confirms. (1 Kings 6:1) All 521 years from the Exodus to Rehoboam's 5th year are also confirmed. The puzzle has been completed.
