    Default Health Care bill passed

    Obama gets his health reforms

    * From correspondents in Washington

    * March 22, 2010 1:58PM

THE US House of Representatives has sent a historic health care overhaul to President Barack Obama, bringing the United States closer than ever before to guaranteed coverage for all Americans.

Lawmakers voted 219-212 to approve the Senate-passed legislation and were to move quickly to pass a package of changes sought by Mr Obama, who was to mark the legacy-defining political victory with a public statement at the White House.

With the fixes, the overhaul was estimated to extend coverage to some 32 million Americans who currently lack it, bringing to 95 per cent the proportion of under-65 US citizens with private insurance.

Mr Obama was to make a televised statement from the White House some 10-15 minutes after the vote on the changes, which aim to make the Senate bill more like the version passed by the House.

As the bill cleared the magic 216-vote threshhold, Democrats erupted in applause and cheering.

...and for some strange, unexplained reason, there were no shrill outcries from Congressional Democrats about a disruption of "Congressional decorum"...Odd,no?

Okay, so it's open season on ALL but 34 House and Senate Democrats. The other 219 Democrats ignored the will of the people for extremely partisan political purposes, with many committing felony criminal offenses in so doing. Let the Revolution begin in defense of our Constitution.

    Couldn't have said it better

Rick Moran summed up this change accurately, via Instapundit: “This was rammed down the throats of the American people with as much cynicism, trickery, deliberate obfuscation, and budgetary tomfoolery as has ever been seen for a major piece of legislation in the history of the republic.”

The $400 million in NEW taxes included within the passed bill will not go towards funding new healthcare programs. This money is intended to re-fund our nearly exhausted Social Security accounts which near bankruptcy due to their being pilfered (i.e. outright stolen from We The People) by a Democrat-controlled Congress for decades.

A primary reason this bill had to come into being at all costs and with such reckless abandon was to raise that $400 billion to band-aid re-fund Social Security with our money to cover the theft of OUR MONEY by seccessive Congresses. But that's not the total cost to save Social Security. These Democrats also voted to cut existing and essential medical programs by a total of $500 million in order to come close to funding Social Security for the next ten years. So this is actually a $900 million bill to continue pulling the wool over the eyes of tax paying Americans.

It will take yet another unConstitutional effort in the Senate for this sham and continued theft of OUR MONEY to actually become law. Democrat Senators who go along with this rape of our banked accounts will suffer the same fate as their House compatriots.

This weekend I was talking to my father-in-law who is a retired health care administrator and pharmacist about the effects of this bill. Basically, he said it is disasterous for those who currently have health care, especially the elderly. He said that there were simple and basic issues that could have been addressed that would have had a profound impact on the health care system without destroying the effective parts rather than this massive and undemocratic overhaul.

One of my concerns-and there are many-is the part of the healthcare ID card that Lindsey Graham and others want to use to for immigration reform. This ID card will be issued to everyone so they can work legally within the US and gain access to healthcare. With the bill allowing for the government to have access to your bank accounts for healthcare payments, a uniform national healthcare software system, and a immigration/healthcare ID; what is to stop the government from controlling everything you do?

And you know that eventually the "healthcare ID" will become an implant. Because the cost of replacement or the "hassle" for hospital staff when you go to the ER and you forgot your ID card, an implantable device will be so much more cost effective. Of course it is an already proven system with farmers and livestock in Europe. In some countries, the implanted RFID chip is already used to gain access into nightclubs for automatic admission fee deducations from personal bank accounts. In the future, it will be so much easier for the doctors/police/government officials to just "wand" you like grocery food is now. Does anyone see where this is going???

I mentioned this to my father-in-law and he said, "Remember the SSN system? It was only suppose to be used for the elderly. Now look to see how widely used a SSN is within our society. Once the government has control of our healthcare, they then can pull strings on every other aspect of your life."

Maybe we can get this thing repealled and do healthcare reform the right way after the November elections?

    God help us indeed.

One other item not being widely reported today - at least so far - is the most important point of all regarding Obamacare.

Contrary to the mindboggling lies coming from Obama and his House/Senate toadies, it is utterly unavaoidable due to the manner in which the ponzi-scheme like funding for this "healthcare" abomination will be handled that public funds - our money - will be used to fund the abortions - the murders - of untold numbers of unborn innocents. Not only will these godless heathen kill our children, they'll force us to use our money to pay for it.

Sean-you are so right on this one! The "word scheming" they used to justify federal money for abortions is disgusting at best.

This just more in my mind cements why America isn't mentioned in the bible, especially during the endtimes.

It is also cementing in my mind that my nickname for Obama which is "forerunner" is also correct.

I believe God had him elected for such a time as this to weaken America enough and set the rest of the world in a condition such that America could not help them but for the whole globe to be in position for
the Anti-Christ to rise to power.

I'm convinced every day of this as I see this country weakened and divided more and more.

I firmly believe at this point all this is part of his plan. More stage setting.

Keith, you obviously have a point here. However, who knows the mind of God??? His thoughts are sooo much higher than ours. His thoughts are, well, eternal!

What got me was, having come home after an absolutely awesome weekend encounter at a Ministry center in Texas. Then come home to see this? I simply had to remind myself, Lord, You're still in control, regardless of what we see in this world!!

I know exactly what you mean Mike but still as I look at my bible and see that Jesus had a forerunner and that the Anti-Christ is supposed to be the fake Jesus as the devil tries to copy everything God does that it would not suprise me for God to let the A.C. have a forerunner as well. The devil may think its his idea or his plan but we all know he's just playing into God's hands if it is the case that Obama is indeed the forerunner.

Antiochus IV Epiphanes was the specific forerunner of the coming Antichrist. As was stated eariler in this thread, there must be a Temple for the Abomination of Desolation to occur- almost exactly as was done in 167 BC by Antiochus IV Epiphanes. No Temple exists now and it will take some time to fulfill the conditions for the building of a 3rd Temple.

The State of Florida joined nine other states today to file a lawsit against the democrat’s rationed health care system.
“The health care reform legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives last night clearly violates the U.S. Constitution and infringes on each state’s sovereignty,” Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum, a Republican, said in a prepared statement announcing a news conference.
“On behalf of the State of Florida and of the Attorneys General from South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Utah, Pennsylvania, Washington, North Dakota, South Dakota and Alabama if the President signs this bill into law, we will file a lawsuit to protect the rights and the interests of American citizens.”

On just the human perspective of this devastation of our Constitution I feel totally betrayed. The authors of this bill had to know exactly what they were doing and why. And enough of the other ayes in Congress also had to know. Just like climate change. Congress has had enough testimony to really understand there is no global warming.

I don,t understand and I am frightened, but I will trust God.

From Jay Sekelow American Center for Law and Justice

The House has passed a health care package that fails the American people and does not provide permanent protections for the life of the unborn.

We are preparing to file a federal lawsuit challenging the flawed health care package.

It is extremely disappointing that the House approved a bill that depends on a promise from President Obama.

Those self-proclaimed pro-life Democrats put their trust in an Executive Order - subject to being rescinded by the President - a move that is not only short-sighted but does not provide the guarantees and pro-life protections secured by statutory language in a law approved by Congress.

The fact remains that the actual health care bill just approved does fund abortion.

The question is: Which President Obama do you believe - the President who repeatedly and publicly opposed the pro-life language in the earlier House-passed bill, or the President who now promises an Executive Order to secure the votes he needed to pass a very dangerous health care package?

The Executive Order is problematic on a number of fronts. It is not a legislative fix and does not carry the force of Congressionally-approved legislation. It does not supersede law. It can be rescinded. And, what should concern everyone: this Executive Order places HHS Secretary Sebelius at the helm of the funding process - a cabinet member who has a long and documented history of supporting abortion.

Yup must of been the Holy Spirit.

I was just going to comment on that. It sure seems like America will be so divided we can't function anymore....

United we stand, Divided we fall... a favorite toast, in varying forms, of political orators from Benjamin Franklin to Abraham Lincoln.

Remember that Obama and administration ???????????????????????????????????????

Or is your toast ... And I did it my way...............

Twenty Democrats were urged to change their vote from a "yes" to "no" on pro-life grounds but failed to do so. They are: Reps. Carney (Pa.), Costello (Ill.), Dahlkemper (Pa.), Donnelly (Ind.), Doyle (Pa.), Driehaus (Ohio), Ellsworth (Ind.), Hill (Ind.), Kanjorski (Pa.), Kaptur (Ohio), Kildee (Mich.), Langevin (R.I.), Mollohan (W. Va.), Oberstar (Minn.), Ortiz (Tex.), Perriello (Va.), Pomeroy (N.D.), Rahall (W. Va.), Stupak (Mich.), and Wilson (Ohio).

On the positive side, 19 Democrats voted against the Senate bill and for the pro-life motion to recommit, which would have added Stupak's ban to the Senate bill. They are: Reps. Altmire* (Pa.), Barrow* (Ga.), Berry* (Ark.), Boren (Okla.), Bright (Ala.), Chandler* (Ky.), Childers (Miss.), L. Davis (Tenn.), Holden (Pa.), Lipinski (Ill.), Marshall (Ga.), Matheson (Utah)*, McIntyre (N.C.), Melancon (La.)*, Peterson (Minn.), Ross (Ark.)*, Shuler (N.C.), Skelton (Mo.), and Taylor (Miss.). (* Denotes members with a limited or mixed pro-life voting record.)

That above according to an email I received today.

As a citizen in West Virginia, I guarantee that Mollohan will not be getting my vote come November. What are the chances of this chicanery being overthrown with the next administration - because I don't think, short of America losing it's collective mind, that the dems are going to stick around for a second term. Unless they somehow overturn term limitations and keep O in office indefinitely, CAN this foolishness stand?

    God Bless,
    mik
If we can no longer trust words to be the faithful vessels to carry our thoughts to another person's mind, then our efforts to preach the true gospel become mired in a swamp of indistinct verbiage. As Paul said, "if the trumpet does not sound a clear call, who will get ready for battle?" And who in the world will be able to distinguish the foe from the protectors and purveyors of the truth?
