    Pitiful Blair courts controversial US pastor Rick Warren in bid to unite faiths

    Former prime minister builds network of Christian allies as he prepares to launch a religious 'offensive' in North America.

    Tony Blair is preparing to launch a "faith offensive" across the United States over the next year, after building up relationships with a network of influential religious leaders and faith organisations.

    With Afghanistan and Iraq casting a shadow over his popularity at home in Britain, Blair's focus has increasingly shifted across the Atlantic, to where the nexus of faith and power is immutable and he is feted like a rock star.

    According to the annual accounts of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, a UK-based charity that promotes cohesion between the major faiths, the foundation is to develop a US arm that will pursue a host of faith-based projects. The accounts show that his foundation has an impressive – and, in at least one case, controversial – set of faith contacts. Sitting on some £4.5m in funds as of April last year, mostly gathered through donations, it is now well placed to make its voice heard.

    The foundation's advisory council of religious leaders includes Rick Warren, powerful founder of the California-based Saddleback church. It attracts congregations of nearly 20,000 and is reportedly one of the largest in the US. Warren, who has addressed the UN and the World Economic Forum in Davos, has been named one of the "15 world leaders who matter most" and one of the "100 most influential people in the world".

    I just hope the world don't believe that the "useful idiot" Warren reflects what most real born again Christians practice.

    I am sure many do. Just for kicks, I ran Billy Graham vs Rick Warren in Google Fight. Graham came back with 1,850,00 hits vs Warren's 875,000. I know that is hardly scientific and means little if nothing. Somehow, though, it made me smile.

    Rick Warren?!?! LOL... might have just as well been Joel Olsteen.

    Apostasy Matt is well underway across our great land (in my opinion). I just can’t help but think what is TB doing traveling across our country especially when it concerns religion. He might want to start in his own country and then across Europe, then, if he still has the energy, he can come here.

    Here is my commentary on the Wall Street Journal article on Rick Warren on Monday Sept 9, 2006 I was a major consultant to Suzanne Sataline on this report.

    Without directly accusing Rick Warren of lying, Suzanne Sataline, author of the September 5, 2006 Wall Street Journal article: A Popular Strategy For Church Growth Splits Congregants, astutely revealed him to be one when Warren says he opposes any efforts to expel members from churches who won't comply with his programs, then she describes Dan Southerland's Church Transitions organization, one of Rick Warren major global partners and quotes by their spokespersons Roddy Clyde and Glen Sartain prove that Rick Warren does promote those very efforts to expel members from churches.

    The WSJ article even backed it up by documenting that Church Transitions conducted their program right at Warren's Saddleback Church, making it impossible for him to squirm out of it or say that it happened at another church...so therefore not his fault. And I can back it up too because I have tapes of Warren's PDC Conference leaders in Nairobi Kenya, confirming their alliance with Church Transitions in Warren's Global Peace Plan.

    I can't even believe he would make such an audacious statement that can be so easily refuted when he trains 400,000 pastors all over the world how to do precisely just that when dealing with his "resisters" and those who "must die". Suzanne Sataline caught Rick Warren redhanded! Good job!

    A further note in the Baptist Press article that there was not an ounce of compassion for any of the victims of Rick Warren's programs as though they had no biblical grounds for their opposition. Also note that they tried to contact Warren and the Wall Street Journal, but no record of contacting any of the victims to verify their story. You can be sure I will make this known next month when I will be interviewed on Watchman on the Wall at Southwest Radio and next week on The New World Order Disorder show on American Voice Radio Network, Prophezine Magazine, The Zeph Report, and on WQBC Radio.

    The time has passed to dialog with Baptist Press. It is now the time to simply mark them as well as Dr. Barry McCarty whom the Baptist Press describes as "longtime chief parliamentarian at the Southern Baptist Convention", and Pastor Doug Morgan, Governor's Park Baptist Church whose response to me by email typifies the treatment of anyone who even appeals to a pastor regarding the teachings of Rick Warren and mirrors the published gestapo tactics of Church Transition leaders, as collaborators for their unholy alliances with Rick Warren!     I think the falling away there is "the rapture" but Revelations positively says one world religion.
