Default The President and his olympics team.

Well the President once again makes a fool of himself.
The Olympics are apparently more important.

This is what makes my blood boil.
We have military personal with their lives on the line and Generals crying out for more troops, but the President says he has to think about it, because his not sure what other democrats will think of it.
What a discussing excuse for a president.
Of course there is not much of anything else of importance back at home and His trip only cost the tax payers 2 million dollars.
Why Oprah should have cover the cost herself.
Of course we will be involved in that new olympic games called who can fire a nuke farther.
So far several countries have signed up so far.
The Russians, N.Korea, China, Pakistan, India, the Iranians said they will be in but their not quite ready yet, and so far the congress has to talk about what program they can rob oh I ment barrow money from.
I know I joke a bit to much, but that's better than letting my head blow up.
    IN JESUS NAME,
    Robert

They sure like to put on the "big show". As long as they're not paying for it. Oh, the carbon imprint!

Robert, you are missing the point brother, yup, he flew ole Air Force One over to Copenhagen at a cost of who knows what but he also met for 25 minutes with General McChrystal who is the head of the US and NATO forces in Afghanistan. That way it made it look real official you know, instead of spending all that tax payer money just to draw the Olympics to his corrupt home town, he was on official, highly secretive, very important, incredibly vital, military mission that was in our best interest from a national security standpoint. See, he ain’t so dumb after all.

Also, it is my understanding that a US president had never made an in-person appearance or speech to try and sell the Olympic Committee on their home town. Apparently he felt it was important enough to leave and go over there to do it, oh, I mean to meet with General McChrystal.

I think we need to remember this president does not subscribe to what we think of as tradition nor commonsensical. In his world, it is the thought that counts, pretend, and over emote to create the visage of desire to perform. So, to his constituents of similar nobility ( a lack thereof?), he is doing a fantastic job, and this failure is of no consequence...at least he tried!

To the realist of the nation, namely us, we are used to "preparation before execution" and when the cost outweighs the potential gain, we would hope our leaders choose to forgo the ill advised effort. Not this one. He expects admiration above all else. The media agrees with him.

I think obama has his priorities wrong. Like others have said he should be dealing with the wars, economy, etc. instead of running halfway around the country worrying about the Olympics. The US has the USOC to handle Olympics related stuff, etc.

I think the whole trip was just a taxpayer funded "plane fling" trip with Oprah. He might have gone to Denmark for the cookies, too.

BO has personal image issues. He loves to see himself in front of the camera, and in fact, he has never met a mirror he doesn’t like.
