This is a MAJOR PRAISE REPORT!!!!

Thursday, we went for my wife's one month post-op follow-up visit with her surgeon, and the surgeon gave her a CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH, and said that she was clear to return to "all normal activities!!!!" PRAISE GOD!!!!

The surgeon was, herself, seemingly amazed and very, very happy about my wife's recovery! She said that she could see, by just looking at my wife, how much better she felt. (It's true, too! After living with Crohn's pain, which had, for the last few months, been with her 24 hours a day -- even interrupting her sleep -- my wife had noted, after being home for a few days, how "odd" it was to wake up and NOT be in pain)!

I told the surgeon, "I don't know what your views are on God and prayer, but I wanted you to know that you have NO IDEA how many prayers were guiding your hands and mind while you were 'in there,' operating." She smiled and said, "Oh, yes. Prayer works!"

After we left the room, we were chatting with the nurse, in the hall, and I related that story to the nurse. She said, "Oh, yes. She IS a believer--" At that point, the surgeon came back up the hall, and the nurse immediately fell silent. The surgeon stopped to chat for a moment more, and then we left. But, I was gratified to know that, not only did we have many, many prayers -- some of them from you, possibly -- from "outside" assisting the surgeon, but we also may well have had the surgeon herself praying!

How awesome! How awesome!
