Ezekiel 39:9 sort of indicates however the burning of weapons for 7 years perhaps prior to Armageddon.
God opens doors for us when there is great opposition and you know it is definitely God working when you can't do anything but wait and see what happens. When God moves like this in our lives you know you are in His will and plan. Praying for God's blessing on every Bible study, Amen. Don't get discouraged if you don't think it went well. God can use whatever we do even if it doesn't seem so great. You will be amazed what little gestures or a simple word or two that is done in the LORD can do in the life of another person.
There is a great lesson in this for everybody. If God gives you something to do, do not confer with man. Paul didn't. He got alone with God and then he went out and sought to do what God had tasked him with. If God gives you something to do, then do that. He will make the way. I praise God that He saw your plight and moved to make it clear that He indeed wanted you to do this, just as He laid it on your heart3 read the Bible to them. His Word is mighty! It is our only offensive weapon in this spiritual battle and 2 Corinthians 10:4 says that "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds!" Indeed, "the entrance of God's Word gives light!" (Psalm 119:130) Those who sit in darkness, who dwell in the shadow of the Valley of Death, can see the light of God's love expressed in His good news for man when they hear His Words proclaimed to them. I pray the Lord lay the right passages to read to these people on your heart and mind. And I have no doubt He will. For most this will be their last chance to escape the penalty of their sin and He knows who will take it and call on Him.
I was upset about the Palestinians claiming Moses and Jesus were Palestinians so I thought it might be interesting to trace real Egyptian history from Abraham to the Exodus. The Bible is a historically accurate book. The Exodus was in 1495 B.C. Chronology can be shown from the Exodus to 586 B.C. Solomon's Temple destruction with no missing links. Actually danielpipes.org/comments/195225 from Abraham to the Exodus & danielpipes.org/comments/195173 the Exodus to Solomon's temple destruction complete the picture. Why let the pagan account on ancient history go unchallenged? I may have typed in the wrong numbers before. Thanks for your concern. Hope this information can be used to counter those people who say the bible is a book of myths and legends.
