National Geographic television channel has a program that documents three separate, self-proclaimed, present-day incarnations of our LORD Jesus Christ. I watched a portion of the program when it aired on June 16. I was terrifically saddened to see beautiful, normal-appearing, modern-day people ecstatically worshipping a mere man. My heart was breaking to think that these people don’t know what Jesus Himself stated in the Holy Bible. Matthew 24:24-27
It amazed me to think that literate people in a civilized environment are so ignorant of the precious Word of God. How can it be that after all these years, they still don’t know ? They just don’t know what the Bible tells us ! They just don’t know the Son of God ! how can this be ?
And how can a seemingly sane man declare himself to be the Messiah ! ? I’m incredulous.

But I’m So Thankful that we do have the whole counsel of GOD in our own hands, to read and learn what the LORD God has said and done, to come to saving knowledge of the LORD Jesus Christ, and to be forewarned of the great deception, the lies, the end of the age, etc. etc.

It prompts me to prayer – prayer for these deluded people, prayer for the mis-guided men who assert their own Messiah-ship – and prayer for weird dictators in our world, like Kim Jong Il who must be as strangely mistaken as these so-called religious leaders. LORD, our GOD, please bring the day when none will need to say to his neighbor, “Know God,” for all will know You – for the knowledge of You will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.(Jer 31:34; Isaiah 11:9) Please LORD GOD, bring Your kingdom upon this beautiful, lost planet. Please have mercy on all the lost souls … Please guide and protect us, preserve us to do Your will and to share the wonderful words of life from the Holy Bible with any who may be willing to hear. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray ~ amen
