If you are looking for the historical aspects first, I would start with the gospel of Luke and then read the Acts of the Apostles. This will give you a history from before the birth of Christ through the first few decades of the Church after Christ's resurrection and return to Heaven. Following that I would read the other three gospels, then the epistles in the order they are in the Bible.
What translation are you reading? And is it a study Bible with notes? Or simply the bible text itself?

I'm reading King James Version. No notes, only Text.
So you suggest I should start with Gospel of Luke? That is the same advice my grandpa gave me. But I should finish Kings since I'm in the middle of it, right?
Also I should read entire Old Testament before Revelation, right?
Well, I don't consider myself a Bible scholar, despite Faith's generous comment; but since you have already started Kings, yes, finish first and second Kings. But you can finish Kings while still beginning Luke. I might also suggest that reading Isaiah while reading the NT is not a bad idea, either.
I do not think it necessary to read the entire OT before Revelation. But if you want to you could read Daniel, Ezekiel and Zechariah first. A lot of the imagery in Revelation is drawn from (or, at least, is the same as) the imagery in those books.

Thank you for your advice. I think I know how I will read it.
-I'll finish up 2 Kings.
-Then read Gospel of Luke & Acts.
-Then Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and John.
-Then Letters.
-Then go back and finish OT.
-Then read Revelation.

Paul's letters are very good in helping your growth as a christian.
For me personally, I find that the old testament is more about history and foreshadowing Christ's coming and the end times. It's based on the old covenant so can be hard to relate to sometimes. But then I remember that people that loved God were just as messed up as I am and that makes the OT beneficial in my learning.
I love reading the NT because it's all about the new covenant and pertains more to my daily life than what happened in the OT. It seems to be more pervasive in teaching how to live holy to the church.
Just my 2 cents.
