For teaching a series, or several, on the O.T. books of Joshua - Esther, I'd like to have some solid biblical commentaries, not into the tiniest details, but a good overview, especially those which include historical facts and customs even those that are outside the Middle East. Right now I'm using primarily Thomas Constables Notes on the O.T. Volume II (Joshua-Esther). Any one have other sources they like and use? I'm especially looking for works that deal with the Bible books of Joshua, Judges, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther. Thanks, RJS
