WHEREFORE ...IF YOU BE DEAD WITH CHRIST
from the rudiments of the world why as though living in the world are you subject to ordinances ?
TOUCH NOT TASTE NOT HANDLE NOT
which ARE ALL TO PERISH WITH THE USING
after the commandments and doctrine of men
which things have indeed a show of wisdom in will worship
and humility and neglecting of the body
not to any honor to the satisfying of the flesh

Bear in mind chapter 3 begins a whole nother life
If you then be Risen with Christ

Indeed, bro! Jesus did it ALL on the Cross. And as we walk in faith and obedience to Him the Holy Spirit, because of the Cross, can grow and bring forth the nature of Christ in us! There is victory in Jesus! Indeed, there is victory ONLY in Jesus.
