A millennium is a period of 1000 years. There was a lot of talk about the millennium 10 years ago when we went to the 2nd millennium since Christ began. After the rapture (which we believe will happen soon) and the second coming of Christ at the end of the tribulation, Christ will set up His rule and reign on earth for a period of 1000 years. It has nothing to do with our current dating system. Not setting dates, but THAT millennium could began in 20 years or less.)
20 years is way off by a long way.i was thinking more of 2020 or 2018 . there talking about 2018 take 7 years off that would mean the ball starts rolling in what 2012? Anyways just have to keep a watch.what with everything thats happening around the world it cant be far off.
How I would love sit down with all my brothers and sisters in Christ to discuss the upcoming events of prophecy. There are still wars to come and a tribulation of 7 years of dreadful events that yet to transpire on the earth. Then a millenium of trancendant glory that none of us could ever imagine in all of its reality. Yet it will come and the church of Christ having been caught up with the Lord in the air 7 years+ earlier and still filled from the feast of the marriage supper of the Lamb, will be a large part of it as we minister with the Lord during that time.
The rapture is on the horizon. Be watchful-be ready-serve the Lord while it is still day.
God bless
In Christ,
Daniel 12:3 (New King James Version)
Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.
