Rapture question

just before the Rapture occurs like maybe the same day or a day before it happens, do you think that we will have some stirring in our hearts or hear from God that the rapture of the Church is fixing to happen? I mean God never springs things on people without some kind of warning.

I was just thinking of Matthew 24:36 where it says "No one knows about that day or hour not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

I just noticed in that verse something I've always just glazed over somehow. It says "THAT DAY". We cannot know that day or hour (prior to or up to)that day.. I read it in the Amplified Bible and it says that (exact) day. The KJV, NIV and NAS all say "that day".
in verses 37-39, . in verse 37 "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man."

verse 38 "For in the days BEFORE the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, UP TO the DAYNoah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen UNTIL the flood came and took them all away."

In Luke 17:27 it says "People were marrying and being given in marriage "UP TO that DAY" Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came."

I went all the way back to Genesis 7 and read: vs 1 "The Lord then said to Noah, Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation"..

then verse 10 says and after 7 days the floodwaters came on the earth."
verse 11 "in the six hundredth year of Noah's life, on the 17th day of the 2nd month---on that day all the springs of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of heaven were opened.",,,"

verse 13 "On THAT VERY DAY Noah and his sons",,,,," "entered the ark".

Noah knew when but he didn't know until That very day..

Except we do know through God's Word that Paul told the Thessalonian Church that He could come at any time so we as the Church should keep watching for His appearing at any moment...

Everything has been fulfilled for the 'Rapture' to happen...

I just hope the Lord allows me to 'experience' it....

Interesting that Noah's Ark has been in the news lately. Probably just coincidence?

And you know this too, anything that Godhead did or will do, Satan/Antichrist will try to imitate, counterfeit; by trickery, magic, deception: the virgin birth, death and resurrection: Rev 13:11, Rev 13:3.

Going back and reading through this thread again, an interesting thing hit me yesterday.

I was finished with my run for the day. Was walking back in to the Receiving Warehouse when, I noticed one of the young guys that handle the paperwork. He's a young black man, hard worker, a wonderful Christian, and a young man I enjoy so very much talking with. I noticed him walking back through the warehouse, paperwork in hand, thoughts of what to do when, when the thought hit me, THIS IS IT LORD! It'll be just like this! We'll be going about our daily "stuff", concentrating on - whatever - when, all of a sudden, BOOM! We're out of here! Out of nowhere! Instantly, we'll be with the Lord. Wow! What a thought.

I took a minute and shared this thought with him. He asked me why I was bringing this up and I mentioned to him, the Word says to encourage one another with this message. He was almost overwhelmed. He thanked me tremendously and, standing right there inside one of the trailers, we almost had our very own little worship service!

I had to get on out of there and get on to the house. His final words were simply, oh brother let it be today!! All I could say was, AMEN!

I do not have the feeling that the rapture will be this year....there are still some things in prophecy that needs to be fulfilled a bit more....of course, I could be totally wrong.

Still, some days after reading the news I wonder just what is taking the Lord so long.....
