Perfect words to remember when it comes to speaking out on false teachers

friend of mine had this on their wall and felt like sharing it as advice

to those who stand up to false teachers and those who enable false teachers

btw, side note and worth sharing

(and a sign that speaking out on false teachers requires courage, something missing in seeker churches that will promote anything)





I got into a debate just now online with a Omaha Nebraska area willow creek association member church's webmasters on FB



and I asked them where they stand on False Teachers like IHOP and the NAR peddlers like Mike Bickle and Cindy Jacobs and Lou Engle




and the seeker church's FB page webmaster responded short after I asked them and they

sounded arrogant and didnt want to even address the issue of false prophets in the NAR leading many christians astray



IMO it was not a good answer to my question.




a real bible believing church would want to address or deal with false prophets like bickle or jacobs or engle


they basically said to me online on their church's own FB page today


that False Prophets like Bickle and Jacobs and Engle

being called out and rebuked as being something that dont need to be addressed at their church (or any church really)


(and yes I told that church on their FB page I believe those 3 are false prophets)



cause "unity in the body" is more important than discernment according to this church

(well, it's FB page for their church's webmaster said anyway)



they also said False Prophets and False Teachers leading people astray should be a secondary issue in the church and that Unity is more important than truth.



(well, I guess that shows how little truth and use for discernment they care about.)



(but than again is anyone really surprised a willow creek association member church and a seeker driven church would say that



I said that because I sadly have friends who go there and I :cry for them. Plus this wca church is a big and well known WCA church here in Omaha.

I like being divisive (as NAR and seeker pastors call anyone who uses Discernment)



cause If enabling nutjobs like Patricia King and Lou Engle and Bill Johnson is what unity in the church is all about

than I prefer to divisive.
