Why do some religious leaders embrace false teachers even after being given the evidence of their heretical and blasphemous teachings?

Worldview Weekend Radio with Brannon Howse

    Program Description:

Why do some religious leaders embrace false teachers even after being given the evidence of their heretical and blasphemous teachings? Should not true Christians be convicted by the Holy Spirit about partnering with false teachers after being given the documentation of such? Brannon looks at the book of First John in regards to the description of false teachers and their deception that causes people to embrace them.

Some self-professing believers that embrace false teachers may do so because they are false converts and the Holy Spirit does not convict them because the Holy Spirit does not live within them. First John describes how believers reject false teaching and false teachers. Christians need to make sure they are being sensitive to reject false teachers and if we are not do so then we need to examine our lives to make sure we are in the faith.

Topic: Hear the audio of Alvin and Heidi Toffler that reveals their worldview and hear audio of Newt Gingrich promoting them and their ideas.

Topic: "Apostle" C. Peter Wagner writes about the Senate and House in Delaware giving him a tribute on parchment-type paper with the seal of the Senate. When government and religious leaders embrace false apostles and prophets it only gives us an idea of how easy it is going to be for a future world leader and false teacher to also be embraced by religious and governmental leaders.

Brannon continues to look at the book of first John and how to recognize false teachers and why some self-professing evangelicals embrace false teachers.

First, Brannon welcomes Paul and his niece Kay to the program to discuss a public school assembly on global warming sponsored by Alliance for Climate Education.

This group has reportedly sponsored assemblies in over 1,000 schools.

Topic: On Today’s program Brannon examines I John 3:6 that speaks of nonbelievers having no conviction of sinful practices.

First John 3:10 says that believers will practice righteousness and unbelievers practice unrighteousness.

There is nothing more unrighteous than those that blaspheme the Holy Spirit as practiced by the NAR and Word of Faith.

2 John 9-11 says that those that work with false teachers take part in their evil deeds or unrighteousness. Continuing to take part in unrighteousness after being warned is the fruit of an unbeliever.

First John 3:16 explains that true believes will sacrifice self-interest for the good of the brethren or the true church. An unbeliever shows no concern for what harms the church such as embracing, promoting and giving credibility to false teachers and the false church.

The unbeliever, or the Christian that acts like an unbeliever, will work with false teachers, and those that embrace false teachers, even if it harms the church but benefits them personally.

Unbelievers, and those that do not protect the church, are more interested in their own self-interest such a gaining a bigger following,

increasing their donor base, appealing to unbelievers, being popular, gaining more radio outlets, more listeners or being part of the “conservative” or “religious” establishment.

Those that are not truly interested in protecting the church, despite their public confessions, will separate and speak despairingly of those that have lovingly challenged their unbiblical actions, pragmatism, compromise, and selfishness.

Such actions serve to also put them in good standing and to be rewarded by those that embrace false teachers.

Believers sacrifice all self-interest, self-reputation, and selfish gains to defend and protect the brethren, the bride of Jesus Christ and the gospel. A true defender of the church will endure attacks on their reputation and will not compromise biblical truth even when maligned by those who have called them friend.

As the days become worse and worse, the true church is going to be shocked at those that will compromise and put the church at risk for selfish gain and worldly promotion.

First John 4:1 tells us that unbelieves do not test the spirit and detect false prophets.

First John 4:5-6 declares that unbelieves do not listen to the truth of God’s Word nor the Biblical warnings of believes that speak according to the Word of God.
