Pat Robertson Says God Told Him Whom The Next President Will Be

    By Dan Jovic
    Fox8.com Reporter

    January 3, 2012

Caucus voters in Iowa tonight will provide early insight into who the front runner for the Republican Presidential nomination may be, but Christian conservative leader Pat Robertson says God has already informed him whom will be the next president of the U.S.

Robertson said on the Christian Broadcasting Network's "700 Club" on Tuesday, "I think [God] showed me about the next president, but I'm not supposed to talk about that so I'll leave you in the dark -- probably just as well -- but I think I know who it's gonna be,"

Robertson went on to say, "Your country will be torn apart by internal stress. A house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country which is at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis."

I don't know about Rev. Robertson knowing the name of the next president, but his prediction of an economic collapse is what many of us are expecting.

ECONOMIC COLLAPSE AND PRESIDENTIAL RACE IS OVER. FORGET ABOUT IT!
By Ken Silva pastor-teacher on Jan 4, 2012 in Current Issues, Features

Well, so says CBN head spiritual wingnut Pat Robertson, as you’ll see in a moment.

For at least the past six years now online apologetics and discernment works like Apprising Ministries, have warning about the growing infestation within evangelicalism of critical thinking skills-numbing corrupt Contemplative Spirituality/Mysticism (CSM), such as that taught by Living Spiritual Teacher and Quaker mystic Richard Foster along with his spiritual twin and Southern Baptist minister Dallas Willard.

Originally off-loaded from the Trojan Horse of the Emerging Church aka the Emergent Church, this Counter Reformation corruption has now metastasized as a spiritual cancer throughout broader evangelicalism. What it’s done is caused a rebirth of Pietism, filled the visible church with superstitions from supposed direct encounters with God, and brought about a syncretism slithering even into the mainstream of evangelicalism.

My main point being, quasi-Word Faith charismaniacs like Pat Robertson are much more influential than we would have ever thought. In fact, we now have even more “conservative” evangelicals also out talking about their “visions” and recommending the extrabiblical “revelations” of others as you’ll see e.g. in SBC’S Beth Moore Merely Pretending To Be Protestant and Beth Moore Recommends “Jesus Calling” Book Claiming Direct Divine Revelation.

So it is for spiritually spineless evanjellyfish bidding bye-bye to the proper Christian spirituality in favor of dueling revelations and “traditions” ala Rome. This is why I bring you another example closer to your own church than you may wish to believe. First of all, apparently Michele Bachmann gets it as today we read:

On the morning before Iowa’s first-in-the-nation caucuses, Representative Michele Bachmann of Minnesota said she was counting on a “miracle” to resurrect her faltering campaign. On the morning after, she acknowledged that it was beyond saving.

Mrs. Bachmann said Wednesday morning that she would not continue her campaign for the Republican presidential nomination. “Last night, the people of Iowa spoke with a very clear voice, and so I have decided to stand aside,” Mrs. Bachmann said at a news conference in West Des Moines. (Online source)

Well, what do you know; as you’ll see in the video below, it turns out that the voice wasn’t people…no, it seems the mystic mush god spoke…to his/her/its personal pal Pat Robertson. Zowie; Robertson had a little chat with a god and spins his fable that, “I think he showed me about the next president.” How can you have a tete-a-tete with God and not remember exactly what He said to you? Ah, but I digress.

Unfortunately, though it’s a done deal in this god’s mind right now, Roberston was issued a gag order and he’s “not supposed to talk about that, so I’ll leave you in the dark…but I think I know who it’s gonna be.” Then Robertson informs us that’s he’s going to read right “just what I wrote down” during his personal soiree with the mystic mush god. He announces:

As if I’m hearing from the Lord these Words — “Your country will be torn apart by internal stress. A house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country, which is at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis.”

(Robertson elaborates) “Your president holds a view, which is at the odds for the majority.” It’s a “radical view for the future of the country. So, that’s why we’re having this division. (god continues) “This is a spiritual battle which can only be won by overwhelming prayer. The future of the world is at stake because if America falls, there is no longer a strong champion of freedom, and a champion of the oppressed of the world.”

“There must be an urgent call to prayer.” Ok, and then the Lord said, “Time of maximum stress; and peril, greater than at any time since the CBN ministry began. This country will begin disintegrating.” (Robertson elaborates) Now I thought, “when did we start this place?” I started CBN in, I think, 1960.

We had—you think of all the things that what went on. You have the assassination of [the] president; the assassination of Martin Luther King, you got a war in Vietnam. You got all these things. He said it’s a worse stress than before. So I’m saying, “God, let me give you some suggestions and you tell me if any of them will be—is right. (laughing) Pick one.

Then Pat Robertson shares the dire details outlined by the mystic mush god if we don’t help him/her/it win the circumstances over with our “overwhelming prayer.” As you’ll see, he/she/it is powerless to stop it right now because we’re bringing this all upon ourselves:

Robertson: I said, is it an EMP blast?

    god: No that isn’t it.

Robertson: Is it a cosmic or solar or radiation blast?

    god: No.

Robertson: Is it the Mayan galaxy alignment?

    god: No, it’s not that.

Robertson: Is it Iranian or North Korean nuclear threat?

    god: No.

Robertson: Is it an earthquake or a volcano?

    god: No.

Robertson: Is it a massive power failure?

    god: No.

    Robertson: What is it?

    god: It’s an economic collapse.

Robertson: And God said—and I quote— “This is not my judgment, they are bringing it upon themselves.’”

The spiritual blindness grows; rough spiritual waters lie dead ahead, and an iceberg of apostasy surfaces.

I just love it when someone makes a 'prediction' and doesn't tell you what it is, so no matter what the outcome they can say 'I knew it!' Bunch of hogwash.

Robertson is a phony and a flake. Period.

Actually, God did send a "sign" to Pat Robertson. It was red, white and had four letters:

    "S-T-O-P".

All he's saying is to expect four more years of the same-old same-old. Tell us something we didn't know.
Ephesians 5:18 (New King James Version)

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

I Come To The Garden Alone Hymn

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

i may disagree with Keith Olbermann

but apparently on the not being watched by anyone CURRENT TV ol Keith named Pat the "worst person in the world" last night

I actually agree with Keith that Pat is one of the worst people in the world.

False Prophets and False Teachers like Robertson are for sure the "worst persons in the world" IMO

on a side note: Keith btw named NAR peddler Pam Olsen the worst person in the world back in late sept.

Oh my an economic collapse! Say it isn't so. We never would have guessed that one of those
might be coming down the pipe. He seems to be hinting that Obama will be re-elected.
Big surprise.....please Pat. Stevie Wonder can see that. If you ask me the Republicans just doesn't
have a strong enough candidate. I was hoping Herman Cain may give him a run for his money but..
oh well. I'm depending on God and not a president anyway.

On one hand he could be not be telling who "God" said because he doesn't want to influence the vote. But the ornery side of me wonders no matter who wins, if he will change his story to fit the winner.

I sent this video to Ed Decker of Home | Saints Alive in Jesus and ask him, a former Mason and Mormon, if this was a Masonic handshake he said 100% without an doubt it was. Pat Robertson is a Mason!

Masons worship the god Jah-Bul-On and Lucifer not Jesus

This passage comes to my mind.

KJV: Deuteronomy 18:22. When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

Obviously Pat knows this passage too.

He said "he showed me about the next president" and he said "I think I know who he is" So Pat Robertson never came out and said God told him who the next president was, he just says God showed him about the president.

I know that many financial analysts have been talking about economic collapse in 2012, so this isn't news to anybody, well except the billions of people that go about their daily lives pretending that having the "best life ever" involves being able to frequent expensive nightclubs at night and staying awake on starbucks during the day.
