United Methodist Church conference in 2012 of Globalism and Paganism?

someone mentioned this on Brannon Howse's FB page and I felt like mentioning

this is a retreat that the UMC is holding in NC in March. It's all about coming one with the environment and Mother Earth.

It's quite eye opening on where the UMC is continually moving.

Pages 1-3 might be the most interesting to folks and showing how far the UMC has fallen

I grew up in the Methodist church and It no longer resembles the church I grew up in. It has gone so very apostate. It really makes me sad , as it was a great denomination at one time.

I know what you mean. I have seen this happen in a number of Protestant denominations here in Sydney Australia.

Many years ago (for me just over 30 years ago when I first came to Christ) you could enter most Protestant Churches here in Sydney and know you would at the very least hear a Biblically based Gospel message. Now you don't know what you will hear when you enter some Churches.

New Age and Mother Earth worship. Who would have thought that you would ever hear that kind of teaching mixed with Christianity.

It would have been Unbelievable.

I know. It too really makes me sad , as it was a great denomination at one time.

here in Omaha where I live , many UMC churches has gone so apostate and so far off the rails,

some jokingly call the UMC the Unitarian Methodist Church cause the Unitarians and some UMC churches here are almost the same when it comes to beliefs.
