When thunder is heard during a discussion between Jim Bakker and Rick Joyner, it is seen as proof that God approves of what they are saying.

Israel needs these two wolves like a hole in the head. Sanballat and Tobiah would be safer choices....
I am Pro Israel also , but these 2 guys as allies arent good for Israel.
Joyner is a big time NAR peddler and has made so many false predictions and bizarre statements.
he is also a apologist for Todd Bentley (a well known and discredited "healer") and is also a apologist for Mike Bickle and the IHOP cult movement

What happened to "the just shall live by faith"??
What happened to God's word? Thunder doesn't do anything for me in getting to know Jesus. God does not speak in thunder and nor does he speak in fire and nor does he speak in earthquakes. I love the narrative about Elijah
1Ki 19:11 The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by." Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.
1Ki 19:12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
1Ki 19:13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
God speaks to us in these last days "BY HIS SON" PERIOD!!!--Hebrews 1:2
-quote from Bob DeWaay"God created nature and by general revelation shows His existence and certain things about Himself through His creation (Psalm 8 & Romans 1:18-21). However, the purpose of general revelation is to lead us to a relationship with God through his specific revelation (Hebrews 1:1,2) which requires submission to His Messiah, Jesus Christ and His will revealed in Scripture. The reception of this specific revelation both forbids and makes unnecessary foolish attempts to gain through nature specific revelation about unrevealed matters. Astrology is an example of augury in that secret information is sought through nature. Balaam sought to have it both ways: know Jehovah and His revealed will and use augury and divination. He is condemned for doing so."
I believe trying to say he hears God's voice through thunder falls within this category of forbidden type worship~~

Am just trying to understand this, It definitly was the sound of thunder I heard. Now 1/ It was genuine thunder and if so, these people are just misguided, however 2/ its is a sound effect, then it is deplorable and they should be ashamed of themselves. Did anyone else hear the thunder?![]()
