even one of the 2 ultral liberal UCC pastors in my town of Omaha Nebraska see something is wrong with Merton's teachings

when even the ultra liberal UCC says something is off about Thomas Merton,



and yet the seeker driven guys who push contemplative stuff dont have a clue

that something is off about this contemplative prayer stuff,



it shows how far the seeker driven contemplative promoters have fallen from truth




this is bad news for willow creek association member churches and other churches who push stuff from contemplatives like Thomas Merton



when as Jones said best:

Clearly I am a child of the reformation, as the way-of-life expounded by Merton doesn't sound at all like the "summit of the Christian life of prayer."




I am no fan of First Central Congregational Church of Omaha cause of it's far-left activism and universalism peddling among other things,

but when even the pastor of First Central Congregational Church of Omaha

and I agree that Merton's stuff isnt that good (or is really north worth endorsing)


it maybe time for those who push Contemplative peddlers like Merton to do some thinking.



p.s. First Central Congregational Church of Omaha who seems to finally have some discernment skills finally. they continue to have more discernment skills

and they get closer to the truth and will speak out against false teachers like Merton
