Canadian indie producer Cineflex is developing "All-American Girls Fighting Satan," about an exorcism school battling Beelzebub in suburban America.
TORONTO – Evangelist Bob Larson and his posse of Buffy the Satan slayers are getting their own reality TV show.



Canadian indie producer Cineflix is developing the series All-American Girls Fighting Satan, about five teen girl exorcists training to cast Beelzebub’s black-winged minions from the lives of ordinary Americans under the tutelage of Reverend Larson of the Spiritual Freedom Churches.

The five cross-wielding teens are Brynne Larson, daughter of Reverend Bob, sisters Savannah Sherkenback and Tess Sherkenback, and Christina Massih and Melanie Massih.

The series, being developed by Simon Lloyd and Joe Houlihan, will feature the five teenagers at Reverend Bob’s school for exorcists, saving troubled people from Satan while their peers are partying.

Cineflix added that, while the five teens are not fending off evil in suburban America, they find time to attend beauty pageants, or play sports like horseback riding and karate.

“The girls and the Reverend Bob believe they are on a God-given mission to save the souls of the possessed,” Cineflix said in a statement Monday.

Bob Larson had a tv show years ago on Syfy channel and I think one on TBN before that and both failed.

this one will likely fail as well



side note/mini-rant: syfy channel I am still mad at for still not airing the short lived 1995 tv show Christopher Lloyd scifi tv show Deadly Games. other short lived shows have and do air on Syfy channel.

why cant a this one? I mean Deadly games was created by Leonard Nimoy aka Spock from Star trek

put the show on DVD or air it on syfy channel finally

Careful, this kind of thing can backfire.....the devil still has his authority and his hierarchy of demons and a lot of power, and if you get too big for your britches The Lord might let him chew on you a little while to teach you a lesson. Archangel Michael observed protocol, and he knows one day he will be sent to arrest the rebel; we'd better know exactly what we're doing before meddling in stuff that might be over our heads. And what impression are the heathen supposed to get out of all this? More occasion to mock and blaspheme?

The Rev. Bob Larson, appearing on Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show Wednesday, hinted at the possibility of a reality program focused on his team of teenage exorcists, while Cooper expressed doubts about the authenticity of Larson's work.


"Something about this I just don't buy," Cooper said to a chorus of applause from his "Anderson" audience. He then went further, providing detail for his doubt, saying of the three teenage girls, "You three seem coached, and you don't seem like you're really talking like real people to me."

The Rev. Bob Larson, of Spiritual Freedom Churches International, has been running a school and training program for exorcists in Scottsdale, Ariz., for years.

He began the school because, as he told the Daily Mail, "The Church just can't keep up with the demand [for exorcists]." Larson has been having quite a bit of success, he said, telling the British publication, "Our phone lines are ringing constantly – we receive up to 1,000 individual requests monthly."

While Larson's program has both teenage and adult students, Larson told the Daily Mail, "We have found that our female, teenage exorcists are particularly effective at curing the possessed."

Now it appears that Larson is trying to give his school and teenaged exorcists a national audience with a reality show, although he insists it is not the case.

"Major press got this story, and then they started contacting us," Larson told Cooper. "We're not pitching anything, they're coming to us." Larson did not mention any specific network that may have expressed interest in developing his ministry into a reality show.


"Anderson" provided a series of clips from Larson and his teen exorcists' appearance on the program.
