My husband and I got into a heavy discussion about this one. He asked me what sin I thought this pastor was committing by doing this. In MY opinion, I do not think it is very respectful to the Lord, but he claims I am being legalistic. I am not trying to JUDGE the man, I just said I don't agree with his tactics to sell his book. He asked me why and off we went.

Any scripture passages that would appropriately address this? Of course I don't want to be legalistic because honestly, I don't know what the man preaches. I am more concerned about causing weaker Christians to stumble, etc.
