why is the UCC church called First Central Congregational Church of Omaha obsessed with Bart Ehrman?

as some may know, I keep tabs on some bad or dubious churches in Omaha


I noticed that for their "sunday school" class aka First Fourms: Adult Education class

as First Central Congregational Church of Omaha is doing for the 4 time in over a year promtoing the stuff by Bart Ehrman



for those who dont know Ehrman is, go to:

Ehrman basically is the Anti-Lee Strobel and Anti- Josh McDowell and Anti-Brannon Howse if one would want to best describe him.



He is a emergent who basically trashes christianity and the bible and First Central Congregational Church of Omaha calls him a "respected theologian".



I have said this before, if First Central Congregational Church of Omaha is intrested in spirtual growth and truth, why are they only allowing Ehrman 's stuff to be promoted.

I think First Central Congregational Church of Omaha needs to read stuff by Lee Strobel and Josh McDowell and Norm Geisler to get a more fair and balanced view of things


and I hope and First Central Congregational Church of Omaha will see Ehrman is just making stuff up and leading people astray.

how bout reading Lee Strobel or Norm Geisler (or would that be being too open minded for a theologically progressive and universalist peddling church)
