Default Chap Clark of Fuller Theologigal Seminary is a Jim Wallis red-letter christian

I wonder if the folks at West Hills Church of Omaha Nebraska (where Chap is speaking at)

and Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church of Omaha Nebraska (which is part of the seeker driven peddling willow creek association

Willow Creek Association - Find A Church

who is promoting him (see) http://www.faithwestwood.com/downloads/012511NL.pdf speaking in a couple weeks in omaha nebraska

    know about this info.

I didn't know about his being a RED LETTER ONLY CHRISTIAN with Jim Wallis and co. until someone brought it to my attention

    Sojourners : Red Letter Christians

the fact he is associated with a group that includes

    Diana Butler Bass
    Tony Campolo
    Shane Claiborne
    Tony Jones
    Brian McLaren
    Richard Rohr
    Ron Sider

    and of course Jim Wallis

should be grounds alone he shouldnt be promoted by West Hills Church of Omaha Nebraska (where Chap is speaking at)

and Faith-Westwood United Methodist Church of Omaha Nebraska

or are both churches into far-left activism

considering that is one church is supporting his coming to omaha and the other is having him speak.

    food for thought

I don't understand what is meant by "red letter Christian"

I did read their page and I am troubled a bit by their belittling "hot button issues" such as homosexuality and abortion. If i understood correctly "WE"Christians who find these two hot button issues very serious are inhibiting the growth of the faith of Christianity and not promoting the betterment of society--the social gospel??

Someone please help me to understand this and correct me if I'm misunderstanding this, Thank you

I went to the link provided............They lost me at "Progressive"

"Red Letter Christians" by Rev. Jim Wallis........ is BHO's (AKA Zero) spiritual advisor

Collective, rather than individual salvation is acceptable to these folks.

Consider the words of Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant." ... "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America , and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

I also don't quite understand what collective salvation is....I know Obama said he believes it and Glenn Beck was bashing it at one point but I am still not sure....is it like what rick warren is saying establishing the kingdom of God?

collective salvation is another word of universalism or pluralism.
