Emergent Village, some more fruit of Brian McLaren’s new kind of “Christianity” tweets:

From @WRoarkTheologia: No Biblical Absolutes God Is Relative (via @LadyHawkeyes) WDYT? ^MC

This takes us to the post No Biblical Absolutes over at the God Is Relative blog of Wallace Roarke who, suprise–links to Brian McLaren, and also informs us that he was a:

Professor of Christian Studies and Philosophy for more than thirty years. Now the blogosphere is my classroom. I am a contrarian, challenger of the status quo, a voice from a differing perspective.

Translation: Apostatizing (at best). In his piece blogosphere professor Roark tells us…absolutely…that:

the Bible delivers us no absolutes… The need to be born again is not presented as an absolute necessity… There is no single “plan of salvation.”… The epistles of the New Testament offer no absolute teaching or rules… Christians are not to try to impose absolutes on anyone,…

And you have Brian McLaren and the emerging church to thank for making sure your youth would have to deal with this new kind of Christianity–which is no Christianity at all–from within evangelicalism;

a new form of progressive Christianity that’s really nothing but spiritually bankrupt liberalism in a relativistic postmodern form.
