When the Scriptures tell us as believers to be a “peculiar people,” I don’t think this is what the Lord had in mind.

One Baptist Church To Celebrate Halloween By Burning Bibles

A Baptist church has decided to sponsor a book burning event for Halloween, including any Bibles that are not KJV. The list of authors they will be burning is a bit mind-boggling.

They apparently forgot to include Jack Hyles’ books on there. Disagreeing with someone’s teachings is one thing. Behaving like this only convinces the world that Christians in general are several fries short of a Happy Meal.

I give them a for burning the Shack and Rick Warren and Rob Bell and Shane Claiborne and Donald Miller and Erwin McManus and

and the WOF guys books because those guys have led many christians astray





the emergents like Rob Bell and McLaren and McManus and others like them push the lie of Contemplative prayer








and some of them IMO probably are Satan's favorite books because the contemplative movement has led many into the new-age movement and away from Biblical Christianity





but burning the bibles and books by John Piper and John MacArthur which have spirtually helped people.

I say to this church in North Carolina.

BTW: I'm too all for destroying books of apostates but comparing John MacArthur to Rob Bell or Brian McLaren or Erwin McManus is insulting.


John MacArthur has been very vocal against the emergent church and the seeker and purpose driven and WOF movements and the lies those 4 movements have peddled
