LAS VEGAS (AP) — This weekend, the long lines, huge crowds and jersey-clad sports fans in Las Vegas were jockeying for a chance to get into church.

An estimated 20,000 people, including one family that arrived at 4 a.m. Saturday to be the first in line, showed up at Canyon Ridge Christian Church over the weekend to hear Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow share about faith and football.

“You get bashed against the rocks sometimes,” Tebow said Sunday at one of the church’s four weekend services. “But when you have a relationship with Christ … One of my favorite quotes is, ‘I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds it.’ I know what my rock is. I know who’s holding my future.”

We need to keep him and all of our brothers and sisters who live in the spotlight in prayer. I just couldn't imagine going through the amount of scrutiny he faces because of his faith...people are just waiting for him to stumble and they will be all over him like a pack of wolves.

Thanks, Billym, for the thread. I'm in agreement with followerofjesus, that we need to remember our brothers and sisters who are in the spotlight, just as we do for those who are not. I remember hearing that Kim Kardashian wanted to date Tim Tebow. That would be like Samson and Delilah. He will be a target for the wolves, and their master Satan. I'm thankful for Tim's testimony and he's in my prayers.

I pray that Tim Tebow, when he does decide to date and marry, yokes himself to a good Christian woman. God doesn't call us to "rescue" other's through marriage. In fact God tells us not to do that.

I think Taylor Swift should date him. dont know if she is a christian, but she's a good role model.
