Stupid games are one thing but there are "games" that aren't really games.

Don't have time. I used to game ... heavily. But for the past few years most of my spare time is spent in prayer or Bible study ... and, for the past couple, modding on RF.

I do. I play TES V: Skyrim, Need for Speed: World (it's free!) for its daily treasure hunt, the two Portal games, and other titles as well. I've been trying to find a good MMORPG, but I haven't found anything good enough yet. I don't have a console, but I do have a powerful PC. Plus, I don't think I'd be able to play anything using a controller.

How is Skyrim , is it anything like Assassins Creed ?

The Elder Scrolls series is very different from Assassin's Creed. Think of Skyrim as of a medieval northern country, with a lot of snow, dragons and all sorts of fantasy creatures, magic, political differences and did I mention a lot of snow? The Empire captures you along with rebels, and they don't care you're innocent because all they can think about is showing how great protectors of the land they are. And to make things even more interesting, you soon find out you're the one who has to stop the dragon invasion, and defeat all Skyrim's foes.

If you want good quality games, you should try Bethesda's. They turned the Elder Scrolls series into a masterpiece, and if you're more into the post-apocalyptic scenarios, they also published two Fallout titles.

Assassins Creed Brotherhood and the new one Revelations is a MMO. You don't have a console but I'm sure its available on PC. The Assassins Creed series is amazing.

I have Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. I played it for a while but didn't like the mechanics. Someone recomended Skyrim to me because I love Assassins Creed and said its that kinda game. The games I like are action adventure roll playing....Assassins Creed, Spinter Cell, Metal Gear etc. I hate first person shooters and runnin and gunnin stuff. Assassins Creed is just the standard for me. (IMO)

BTW, I'm 47. Video games I've always found amazing. I remember the first one....PONG , the black and white lines and one dot moving on a screen, amazing how far they've come.

I have to admit it. I play Snoopy Flying Ace and and and (gasp) Fruit Ninja!
