“Reconciled”

Consider where we’d be if God hadn’t intervened
Think how different our lives would’ve turned out
God reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ
His mercy and His grace we couldn't live without

He's saved us; His Truth He's sown in our hearts
He empowers us to persevere through life's pain
When the night comes, and the tears start falling
In the morning light, He awakens us to joy again

Why He redeemed us exceeds our comprehension
None of us can understand the reaches of His love
But most importantly, all of us will spend eternity
Jubilantly praising God's Lamb enthroned above

Romans 5:10-11 (NASB)
10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

I can tell you've been spending time with Jesus

that's so true you know... I've had many tears I've shed and become so hopeless and empty and then by morning new mercies I do see and His JOY awakens once again in my life the new spring of living waters of drawing from Jesus Christ once again. Only Jesus has the words of eternal life where will I go? I lift my weary head to drink
