How deep this pit, dark as night
Haven't reached the bottom yet
Surreal, absurd; wrong is right
From bad to worse things get

Underneath this dimension lies
Fierce battles in an unseen war
Truth forsaken for compromise
Opening wide deception’s door

If we neglect to read or to pray
Then it'll only stand to reason
We'll be headed the wrong way
The road of spiritual treason

Either we’ll follow Our Shepherd
Or like straying sheep we’ll roam
Let’s obey and take up our Cross
Our Lord Jesus will lead us Home
