Heard of it, but have no desire to join it. I'm way too busy to even come online to the computer half the time, let alone twitter. But I hope you get some business! :)

It is also a powerful tool of God! If you doubt that, then take a look at RapturReadyNews on Twitter. It is an awesome streaming of world events as they happen, placed into a prophetic frame, and heavily laced with the gospel. There is no doubt that God uses this to speak to the lost and give them the opportunity to turn to Him.

I can tell you that some of the news flashes on that Twitter stream sometimes beat even the news services we subscribe to in our newsroom!

So is the camera, yet christians also use cameras to record sermons as well as other programs. We cannot brand a tool "evil" simply because liberals use it. Anything has the potential to be used for good or evil. It is man that ultimately decides the use of what he has invented. Of course, it's intent comes into play, but that goes without saying.

As for your comment about God not intending us to use twitter, could you say the same about the internet? The telephone? Letters? Writing? God intended us to use whatever means we have to spread his word. He did not expressly forbid it in his word, but left it to us to decide how best to use the time, talents and resources at our disposal.

I'm with Adrian and Robert here. The ones I have subscribed to are conservative in nature, and quite focused on staying away from liberalism. One is even the movement to recall our disgusting pedophile gay mayor, Sam Adams. It's a way to stay in touch with what these causes are doing so I can decided what and where I will participate. I have also found facebook a great way to find out which of my former high school classmates are saved and I was happily stunned to discover that many of them were. We fellowship there and encourage non-believers as well. Remember, Jesus said the gospel would have to be preached to all the world. These are just one more way of getting it out there.
