I am not sure. Sometimes I think they are and then I am not too sure.

Sorry, I know this doesn't help much.

I might have to think on this a little bit more. If I don't feel close to 100% about them, then I might know where I lean towards.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

Then he asked: "sirs, what must I do to be saved"?. They told him: "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shall be saved, and thy household".

    Act 16:30,31

    Jesus saved me.

They appear to take something with a grain of truth to it, and then turn it around to what COULD happen and not what is actually going on. They "feed" off of the people who want something exciting to happen and will keep going back. It's the internet's version of a supermarket tabloid. It's gotten where I won't usually even read a post that's from WND unless it's backed up with other sources (other than blogs or other forums). Subsequent posts end up degrading into warring among members of "the body" or spewing of vitriol against someone else.

Thanks for posting this. WND is equivalent to a supermarket tabloid? I had no idea. Now I'm worried tht I may have quoted things from them. Are there any other news sources this bad?

I used to post articles from them until I started reading them more closely. I usually try to check to see if an article has more than one source. There are others, but I can't remember them off of the top of my head. Nobody would be able to give you more examples if he would post on the topic. I'm not saying you shouldn't READ any of their articles, but you should take them at least a grain of salt (if not a salt mine).

People tend to remember the headlines on WND that says something they want to hear while disregarding the obvious wrong.

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven – the Son of Man. (John 3:13, New International Version)

Some things they get right, but others...

One time they insisted that some bogus recording of people screaming in hell was real.

The Bible tells us that if a prophet is not correct 100% percent of the time, then they are no prophet of God.

Now, while I would not go so far as to call WND a false prophet, I can say with absolute certainty that if they get only some things right and mess up on a lot of other things with no attempt to correct their info when erroneous or to clarify their info when uncertain, the I for one am NOT going to put much stock in them or rely too heavily on their "news"; I wish to have accurate facts, not the terror-inducing ramblings of those who feed upon the fears of others and pander the sensational to the unknowing.

In this day and age, there is enough apostasy floating around (and enough people out there who are deluded as a result!) without us falling for bogus information that someone dreamt up, or put a spin on a legitimate news piece of info in order to make it read and say what they desire it to say.

WND is NOT reliable: time and again they have proven themselves to be among the least credible, if not in fact, THE least credible. Yes, "even a broken clock is right twice a day", but in this case, I think I will pass this particular clock by. If I want trash, I'll take a walk out to the dumpster just outside my apartment building. At least out there, sometimes someone will throw out a table or something that might actually catch my eye.

I am glad that was bogus!

Read them with discernment. That's the best rule of thumb for everything, I believe.

I voted not reputable. Too much sensationalism mixed with a little fact...
