Omaha Group Raises Money For Myanmar Relief



OMAHA (KPTM) - Saturday, some Myanmar refugees raised money to help people in their homeland.

The Mount View Presbyterian Church played host to a fundraiser for victims of the Burma cyclone.

Many groups refer to the country as Burma, not recognizing the military regime that's held power for decades.

The Karen Society of Omaha put together Saturday's prayer service and lunch.
