All The People Gathered Against It

Zechariah 12:3:And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.
In Zechariah 12:3 we're told, in no uncertain terms, that the end times is going to see the entire world caught up in the seemingly never-ending drama that surrounds the city of Jerusalem, which has been a stumbling block (or burdensome stone) in all attempts to bring peace between the Israelis and Palestinians. Dave Hunt of The Berean Call has written the following on this topic before:
“Consider how remarkable even this one prophecy is. Who could have imagined when the Old Testament was written that all the nations of the world would be involved in deciding the fate of Israel? And this involvement of all nations in dividing Israel has occurred exactly as prophesied and is still in the process of being implemented.”
Not only is Zechariah's prophecy remarkable and pertinent to events taking place in the world around us today, over half of Israel's Jewry now feels that "all of the people of the earth" are gathered together against them according to a Jerusalem Post article. A recent survey quoted in the article indicates that 54% of Jewish Israelis believe the "whole world" is against them. In light of bible prophecy, this sense on the part of the Jewish people is very revealing, especially at this moment when the international Quartet of Russia, the United States, United Nations and European Union is pressuring Israel to make peace with the Palestinians once again.
In bible prophecy (Daniel 9:26-27) we're told that a prince (or leader) of Roman descent is eventually going to confirm (or make strong) a seven-year covenant of peace between Israel and others. The leader who will fulfill this prophecy is the prophesied Antichrist and he will do so "with many". Three and a half years into the seven-year covenant the Antichrist is going to break the covenant (Daniel 9:27) and begin hostilities against the Jewish people. By the time the Antichrist reveals his true nature, he will hold sway over "all kindreds, and tongues, and nations." (Revelation 13:7)
If the Jewish people believe the whole world is against them now, the immediate future looks anything but bright, but bible prophecy tells us that Jesus Christ our Lord, the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Revelation 5:5), is going to hear the cries of His people in the Tribulation Period to come. At a moment when all hope seems lost for the children of Israel, He will return, defeat the Antichrist and his forces, and set up His kingdom here on earth.
Soon, Church, Jesus Christ is coming!
Soon, Israel, the Messiah will become known to you, after which the entire world is going to be a better, brighter place than it has ever been before.
