The two factions of the Palestinian people signed an agreement against their common enemy, Israel

The two factions of the Palestinian people signed an agreement against their common enemy, Israel
By Jimmy DeYoung

The two factions of the Palestinian people, Hamas and Fatah, signed a reconciliation agreement in Cairo, Egypt that brought the division of the Palestinian people back together under the banner that they must deal with their common enemy, the Jewish state of Israel.

Both Hamas and Fatah agree that as a unified people the Palestinians have a common enemy, Israel and they will fight Israel with diplomacy or with military force.

Jimmy's Prophetic Prospective on the News

The reconciliation of the two factions of the Palestinian people has set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.

In Cairo, Egypt, the leaders of the two factions of the Palestinian people, Hamas and Fatah, signed an historic agreement that reunited these two groups after four years of infighting. Khaled Mashaal, the leader of Hamas, said that the common enemy of both his group and Fatah is the Jewish state of Israel and must be dealt with, if need be, by military force. Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of Fatah, said that Israel must now chose between peace and the Jewish settlements in Judea and Samaria.

This harsh rhetoric from both Hamas and Fatah, now once again united with purpose, does set in place the scenario that can be found in Bible prophecy. A student of Bible prophecy can trace from the birth of Esau in Genesis 25 down through biblical history to the Palestinian people of today and see these descendants of Esau, the Palestinians, will be major players in the end times.

The ancient Jewish prophet Malachi wrote of the return to power and a rebuilding by the Edomites, the Palestinians, Malachi 1. Ezekiel in Ezekiel 35 prewrote history revealing that the Palestinians would kill Jews and then take their land. The prophet Obadiah lays out the end of the Palestinian people, the descendants of Esau, and it will happen when Jesus Christ returns to the earth.

The reconciliation of Hamas and Fatah, the two factions of the Palestinian people, does indeed set the stage for Bible prophecy to be fulfilled.
