Bible Prophecy Coming True

The subject of Bible prophecy is one that offers a great deal of rewards for the serious student of the Bible. While Bible prophecy is essentially history told in advance, it serves as the fingerprints of God for those who are searching for him. The Bible states that those who search for God with all their heart shall find him:
Jer 29:13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
Not only does Bible prophecy foretell the future but we can also see that many prophecies are coming true today in our lifetime. These prophecies and their fulfillments are signs that we are truly living in the last days. There are many examples of Bible prophecies coming true today. For example, the European Union is an example of a revised roman empire that is prophecized to appear in the last days per the prophet Daniel. The emergence of worldwide communications such as cable TV, Satellites, and the Internet have provided us with the means of fulfilling the prophecies of Revelation where it says that the whole world would marvel at the two witnesses as they lay slain in the streets of Jerusalem. We can see the impact of these technological advances by simply looking at the spectacle that was made of Pope John Paul back a few years ago when he died. The media played non-stop live coverage from the Vatican in Rome during that time. I would strongly suggest that conditions will be similar when the two witnesses are slain by the Antichrist and left in the streets of Jerusalem for three and a half days before God calls them up to Heaven in front of the whole world, many of who will be watching real time coverage from around the world.
But perhaps the most important and signficant prophecies coming true today revolve around the modern day rebirth of the state of Israel. Not only has Israel been reborn in the biblical homeland but they have also re-captured the city of Jerusalem. These are direct fulfillments of prophecies from the Bible and serves to remind us that Bible prophecies coming true today show us the hand of God in the affairs of mankind. They are undeniable proof that God is sovereign and in control of everything.
These fulfillments of prophecy should give us spiritual strength and wisdom that is not available to unbelievers. The Holy Spirit is the teacher for believers and he helps us see things that others simply don't have the spiritual eyes and ears to see and hear the things of God. Bible prophecy coming true today should strengthen the believers faith and encourage them to dig deeper into the word of God for spiritual growth and guidance.
It is my desire that students of the Bible study prophecy as it is the hand of God that tells the future before it happens. In fact, the Bible itself declares that the future is told before it happens, so that when these things come true, people might believe.
Jhn 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.
